last time my problem was i didnt know where to put the hack for the food item. once told, i tried it out and it didnt take. what do i do?

What did you try and make for a food item hack??
i didnt make it, i downloaded the energy drink hack and put it in the folder they told me to
Item hacks go in your common3.pac, not in a folder.

Well there's your problem.

That's a clean common3.pac. You place it in:
private>wii>app>RSBE>pf>system
And take off the "_en" on the name. So it should be named "common3.pac".
Open it up with Brawlbox, find the item it replaces, and replace the .brres.
