I'm trying to load a custom CSS but everytime I call it sc_selcharacter.pac it doesnt load any of the chagnes, just loads the normal brawl css. But when I cal it sc_selcharacter_en.pac my wii freezes. I am using riivolution and I put the codes that came with the custom css in I:\codes I also put them in I:\riivolution\codes just in case

I dont know what I'm doing wrong. Here is where all the files are located

I:\riivolution\codes\RSBE01.gct
I:\codes\RSBE01.gct
I:\private\wii\APP\RSBE\pf\menu2\sc_selcharacter.pac
I:\private\wii\APP\RSBE\pf\menu2\sc_selmap.pac

Riivolution users have to put the sc_selcharacter_en.pac inside the common5.pac.  Try that and it should work.

so I put it in common5.pac and delete sc_selcharacter.pac?

You go into the common5.pac and replace the sc_selchar.pac inside of it with the one you have, then delete the sc_selchar.pac not in common5.pac.

I put sc_selcharacter_en.pac inside the common5.pac but it didnt load the changes, but when I called it common5_en.pac it freezes

Files sizes are really stubborn for certain files, the file size might be too big.

yay it works!!! I just redownloaded the orginal common5.pac and replaced the things inside of it! I also figured out your not suppose to use the file patch code!

Yes, because Riivolution already patches the files.
