To make them work in brawl you have to give them a name and a frame amount.

So i can name them ANYTHING and ANY amount of frames?
And then hex the brres and extract after?

Yes. Just open the brres in brawlbox, give the animation a name and a frame count (most animations from pokepark wii are under 200 frames) then it'll work.

Could you do this for any game? Let's say, a Naruto game?

Yeah. If the game uses chr0 animations.

To make it work on another character you have to click into it and rename its corresponding bones to match that character's.

No, i think you misunderstood. Im making a whole bunch of imports all at once, this is so i can just use the import's animations, without having to make as many, and so that i dont have to go through all the trouble of renaming bones.

oh, you are using the original bone names on the import then. I always renamed the bones in the brawl way when importing so i needed to do the same with their old animations.

Hmm...The animations are in the game itself, correct? They wouldnt be in the model?

Yes, the animations are not contained in the model.
You have to search pretty hard to find the CHR0 files sometimes.

Just export the chr0 file through BrawlBox. Easy as that.

Yes and no. In some games, they are in the brres packs that contain the model, textures, etc.
HOWEVER some games have them hidden inside unknown file types. Thanx nintendo.
