Hey there fellow hackerz! :kdance: ;D

I recently downloaded the jet the hawk beta, and took ingame pics which i then erased everything except jet, and used for csp's.

Ever sence i put them in, it freezez :oshi:.....This probably has something to do with the size of ma sc_selcharacter.pac. What size/how big does the selcharacter have to be?

character names=144x24 white font on black bg, character icon=80x56, csp=128x160 ur welcome

sc_selcharacter.pac should never go past 3.79 MB. If it's any over that it will freeze.

to down size put most of csp's in cmpr format or edit the text

But when i hover my mouse over the file, it says its only 3.50 MB.......what did i do wrong?

What part of the game does it freeze? If it's 3.50 MB it should work so it can't be your sc_selcharacter but maybe something else. Usually you can tell depending on what part of the game it freezes.

I had a similar problem. Does he have any textures or PSAs on him? Because when this happened to me it was because the PSA was bad.

Yes, however, i think i fixed it, idk though, ill test it out tomorrow.

The hovering over a character on the CSS issue could also be a problem with a character. I had a situation where I would hover over Snake and it would freeze.

So I thought, well there must be something wrong with Snake. I checked his folder for a recent texture I had downloaded for him and it was like 110KB which is an extremely low number for a .pcs file.

Apparently it was a hack that didn't download all the way, so it was corrupted. I removed it and everything worked again.

It might be a bad texture or PSA. Or it could be what ItalianStallion mentioned.

Yea, i have a vaporeon over pikachu import, and every time i go over pikachu with the fitmotion in ma sd, it gives me the luod beep of death....How do i fix this one???

Like I said before, it's more than likely a bad hack. Some hacks cause your game to freeze because of the way they were made.

Then obviously there's something wrong with the Pikachu folder. It's common sense stuff man.

Well you're the one who made the hack, so if it doesn't work then you probably didn't do something right while making it. I don't know how to fix it because I've never made an import or whatever you people call it before, so don't ask me. All I make is .brstms. Sorry.

This is definitely a problem caused from file size.
It happened to me whenever I moused over Link replaced with Zero.
I fixed it by changing the texture format of the CSP's to CMPR. The CSP's weren't as good quality but it wasn't very noticeable in game.

I have Zero over Link as well, but all of his CSPs are in C18 format and I haven't gotten any problems.

Weird. Whenever mine were C18 it froze.
Maybe I have more CSP's or something?

Well you said it was only when you moused over him, so if you're able to mouse over anyone else, then it's more than likely something with Zero's CSPs. I have the Zero Recolor Pack so I have CSPs for every one of Link's colors replaced by Zero's, and I've never had any problems with them or Zero himself ever.

Riivo has no size limit, u can have the biggest sc_selcharacter file possible and no freezing will occur (as long as your SD or USB Drive permits it) if your having problems with file size. Try it with Riivo
