Title: Exception (DSI) Occurred! [SOLVED] (FINALLY! >_>)
Post by: (specter) on November 27, 2010, 08:43:22 PM
If I add any more codes to my Brawl Minus GCT, every time after Gecko boots it will take me to a black screen with all this coding on it. When I deleted these new codes I didn't get the error. I don't understand why it won't allow me to add any more codes. Is there a limit or something?

I am using Gecko OS and Smash Stack, also using a gameconfig.txt which should allow me to go over the 256 line limit, but somehow I'm still limited on how many codes I can add to my GCT.

Anyway, the error went like this:

Quote
Exception (DSI) Occurred!
*Insert a whole bunch of codes here*

Stack Dump
*Insert a whole bunch of codes here*

Code Dump
*Insert a whole bunch of codes here*

Reset

If it helps, the codes I added where from Smash Boards and they were Peach's Turnip > Waluigi, Items Never Disappear, and some Vs. Mode setting modifier.

Oh gawd, tell me if you're using a gameconfig.txt for all those codes.

Yeah I am. Is that a bad thing?

You didn't tell them you are using Gecko/ST. They might give you misleading info.

Oh ok. Thanks for letting me know that.

assuming you tried to load Gecko multiple times after the problem occured, here are my suggestions:

Lower the amount of codes you have

and if that don't work...

Re-Download Gecko

I already know it's an issue with my codes because whenever I try to add more I get this error. If I delete any existing code and replace it with the new one I won't get it. I'm assuming I get this error because I'm going over the code limit? So is there anyway I can fix it?

Get rid of some codes.

Like I said before I know it's because of my codes. I only get this error if I add any more codes than I have now. My game works fine after I deleted the newer codes. But my question is is there a way to get Gecko to work with more codes? Or have I reached the limit and there is nothing I can do?

Ask the brawl- team, It might have something to do with the SS compatible RSBEO1

Give me some user-names to consult about this. I posted this problem on Smash Mods, too, and also All is Brawl, but no one knows anything which is weird because I've seen lots of topics on Google about this (just not anything with Smash Stack) so I think people are just ignoring or not feeling like replying.
