Title: Some nooby questions Post by: (specter) on December 03, 2010, 03:58:31 PM I would like it if someone could explain to me in your best detail the following terms:
-Vertex hacking -Models -Imports I just never really understood what they meant. Thanks. Title: Re: Some nooby questions Post by: Bush on December 03, 2010, 06:26:36 PM It's prety strait forward but I'll explain anyway.
Vertex hacking = Changing the way a character looks via vertices (http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/686/mewtwop.png) Models = the 3D model a person place or thing Imports = somthing from one game, lets say Naruto, put on to Brawl. (http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/7295/facesej.jpg) This is a Import because the 3D model came from Naruto: Clash of Revolution. Title: Re: Some nooby questions Post by: (specter) on December 03, 2010, 07:47:46 PM Oh I figured that's what they were. How do you get that stuff into Advanced Model Editor or whatever? What are vertices and how would you edit them to achieve that Lucario in the first picture?

I can help a bit if you want. Title: Re: Some nooby questions Post by: (specter) on December 04, 2010, 03:41:39 PM To edit the vertices of a character you vertex hack it. Read this guide. Maybe I'll come back here in the future if I ever want to start making my own, actually good hacks. |
