Title: Stage Position Post by: whiselifax on December 14, 2010, 07:52:44 PM Basically all I want to do is make it so that the background I'm looking at while fighting does a 180ยบ turn, if that makes sense.. I essentially want the camera to completely turn around...
Sorry if that seems confusing, I'm not sure how to word it :x Title: Re: Stage Position Post by: TheHatMan on December 15, 2010, 06:17:00 AM so your saying you want to create an animated background so that it rotates arounds in a circle?
hmmm....try finding the background and then create multiple frames using the pics that, when put together, make the animation Title: Re: Stage Position Post by: whiselifax on December 15, 2010, 10:05:11 AM Thanks for the reply, but sadly that's not what I meant.. although I still don't know how to word it.. all I want to do is make the camera face the opposite way from it's default position. Basically I have this imported model, and the current background which the camera is facing is a boring wall, and behind the players is this awesome little creek, which would make a better background.
..Hope that clarifies things. :P Title: Re: Stage Position Post by: TheHatMan on December 15, 2010, 12:40:43 PM oh...so you want to reverse the background so that whats behind you is now in front of the player?
You could try searching that back pic in that stage file and when you found it, switch it with the original background If its a model, then simply replace the model data with the original Title: Re: Stage Position Post by: whiselifax on December 18, 2010, 05:35:52 PM oh...so you want to reverse the background so that whats behind you is now in front of the player? It's an imported model. Title: Re: Stage Position Post by: scorcher9910 on December 19, 2010, 10:54:34 AM All I know is that it's in the animation data.
Title: Re: Stage Position Post by: ForOhFor Error on December 19, 2010, 11:25:11 AM Okay, you'll want to make a new Character Animation in the modeldata that the model is in. Then preview the model, open the left and right tabs, choose the bone that will move the entire stage (either the top one listed, or it will be called, like, stage_ALL or something) in the left tab, the new animation on the right, then go to the rotation Y box and change that value to 180.

Awesome! That worked, thanks a lot! (by the way your fairy fountain stage is amazing) |
