Title: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking. Post by: JooJoo720 on December 20, 2010, 09:49:51 AM I for one used to beat myself up about my brawl hacks...
but then i thought about it and came up with this. Being reported: Pretty much everyone on brawl vault was reported on their first few hacks, your new to it... Threads being ignored: Just think this... The more threads you make, the more there are to reply to, you have to respect that other peoples time. Not just in threads, in general too. Not being able to do things: Look up tutorials, your new to it... Give yourself a break, everyone had to work out how to use it sometime in there life, it doesn't matter how long it took. And the number one golden rule: None of your own hacks are 'crappy', some people don't even know how to add hacks to their games, let alone make them... now thats 'crappy'. And thats it, every time you feel bad about brawl hacks, just think about these few things. :) Title: Re: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking. Post by: DarkPikachu on December 20, 2010, 02:32:33 PM unless you're someone like me...
my threads are ignored because nobody knows about half the stuff I post =P >_> IT'S CALLED GAME DEVELOPMENT PEOPLE! XDD and yet I manage to remain calm out of all the annoyances and frustrations :D eg: I only have 5 hacks out right now... :P but I know what I'm doing there's more that can be done out of that though -.- Title: Re: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking. Post by: Gamma Ridley on December 20, 2010, 02:34:51 PM About the getting reported thang....
Yeah, it's usually just a good idea to ignore getting reported. Seriously, my Mew got reported because "FitMotionEtc is not a .pac" or something absurdly silly like that. :srs: Title: Re: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking. Post by: DrPanda on December 20, 2010, 02:46:34 PM The real Golden rule: Brawl hacks really aren't that important

Post by: Gamma Ridley on December 20, 2010, 03:07:15 PM lol... unless you intend to use the wii to dev games on :D This is true. XD But, I mean, if people don't download your texture hack, don't beat yourself up over it. ^^ Title: Re: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking. Post by: ForOhFor Error on December 20, 2010, 03:10:57 PM Quote >_> IT'S CALLED GAME DEVELOPMENT PEOPLE! XDD XD Yeah, game developing is a b*tch. I use flash, and the wall collisions on one of my games are so buggy that one character can push another character through a wall if the correct situations apply >.> Anyway, back to on topic: Blame the brawl developers! (Doesn't this directly contradict my above off-topic statement? And the answer - not really! You see, I'm a complete hypocrite!) Title: Re: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking. Post by: Gamma Ridley on December 20, 2010, 03:13:28 PM Blame the brawl developers! SAKURAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIII If the developers made the game properly the first time, we wouldn't have to hack it now would we? ;) Title: Re: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking. Oh, and anyone calling 2D games 'simple' is unfortunately misinformed. But in comparison to 3D games, yes. Also: Blender can make games? (BTW, we should probably get back on topic) Title: Re: How not to get frustrated with brawl hacking.
