Title: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 07, 2011, 07:15:52 PM Im not sure if this is a question or Not. But Wouldn't it Be Better for Afro luffy texture to be over Capt. Falcon instead of Shiek?
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 07, 2011, 09:11:23 PM Depends, it's all about the vertexes.
Captain Falcon might not be suitable for it. If having him on Shiek is that bad, you can find a code to make her separate. Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 07, 2011, 10:18:39 PM Oh. I see. Is there anyway to remove shieks needle throwing?
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 08, 2011, 10:35:52 AM You have to change it in her PSA.
If you take the time to learn PSA, you could even make a whole moveset for Luffy. Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 08, 2011, 09:00:55 PM oh. That sounds like work.... Darn. it never hurts to learn something new.
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 09, 2011, 06:54:26 AM Yeah, PSA is a bit overwhelming. I've tried messing around with it before, but I never really did anything serious.
I stick to stages. Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 09, 2011, 11:18:44 AM It all seems hard. so id better start learning before January 18 and finish by February 1st. And uhm how would i make an attack thingy.

Post by: MagnaRage on January 09, 2011, 07:27:51 PM Whats an Offensive Collision?
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 09, 2011, 07:42:46 PM It's like the area that's saying "this is where the person is hitting someone else" like, it's the area of effect of the attack. Where it hits, and its damage, and all that data is in the offensive collision.
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 09, 2011, 07:53:29 PM oh. i think it was a move set. how would i go to be making one? if it requires me to use bone structures then theres no hope, i watched the video on how to do that stuff-ish.... it made zero sense to me.
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 09, 2011, 09:50:46 PM It's just by combining different functions in PSA, I haven't really taken the time to learn anything about it. So I know about just as much as you do about making one. xD
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 09, 2011, 10:15:43 PM Oh. Lul. Anyway Whats a psa? and how do i replace stages? ): tut's don't suite me.
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 09, 2011, 10:40:36 PM A PSA is a moveset file. And download the stage you want, then name it the corresponding name for whatever stage is goes over, (ex: For final destination, it's STGFINAL.pac) and then you place it in pf>stage>melee. (Every stage goes in the "melee" folder. Not just the Melee stages. By melee, it means non-subspace emissary.)
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 09, 2011, 11:58:17 PM ooooooh. i see. so if i dont have any stage file i can just download one and just put it in?
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 10, 2011, 11:37:28 AM Yep! Incase you want to know about .rel files, here's a whole mess I wrote about them:
A .rel file is used for placing a hacked stage based on a different stage than the one you are placing it on it. Sorry if that's confusing. Here's an example: Okay, say I want this hacked stage, "1337 stage of awesome" (xD I don't know, I can't think of a name) to go over Luigi's Mansion. However, the person who created it made it for Final Destination. That's where .rel files come in. You place the .rel file for putting a Final Destination stage over a Luigi's Mansion stage in pf>module, and then the stage works. There's a program called "Stage Switcher" you can use to create these .rel files. If you can't find it, I'll PM it to you. Now here's a whole mess about the Stage Switcher program: Here's the program: http://www.mediafire.com/?q526yeg712saeny I included 2 .rel files, one for Final Destination, and one for Battlefield. (Because those are the most common stages for hacking.) All you have to do is start it up, choose the .rel you want, and which stage you want it over, and then it creates a .rel file and places it in the folder named "edited". You take the .rel from that folder then just place it in pf>module. For example, if you wanted to make a Final Destination stage go over Pokemon Stadium 2, you would open the program, choose "st_final.rel", go to where it says "What stage is selected file?" and choose Final Destination, and then choose Pokemon Stadium 2 as the stage you want it to be placed over. The .rel file would then appear in the "edited" folder. Okay, does all of that make sense? Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 11, 2011, 01:13:44 PM oh ok i try it out when i get home from school. Do .pacs work with "Stage Switcher"?
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: TheHatMan on January 12, 2011, 06:12:20 AM PSA is easy...dont worry about it
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 12, 2011, 11:45:54 AM er i got a problem with items. I tried to change itmbeamsword it doesnt look how i want it to.
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 12, 2011, 12:53:09 PM No, you use .rel files so that you can use .pacs on different stages.
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: MagnaRage on January 12, 2011, 03:46:24 PM thats what i don't understand. if you've got a .rel and .pac how do the two relate?
Title: Re: Ho there. Post by: scorcher9910 on January 12, 2011, 10:18:43 PM They are named the same thing.
If your stage is STGSTADIUM.pac, your .rel is st_stadium.rel. If your stage is STGFINAL.pac, your .rel is st_final.rel. |
