Title: 3DS Max Help
Post by: SmashClash on January 14, 2011, 05:15:07 PM
About: Beginner's guide to MK64n's method without patching + Tips for using 3DS MAX

I'm on Windows 7 and on Home Premium edition. It says I must be on Ultimate or the one under that in order to get Windows XP Mode. I don't have to buy Windows XP just so the COLLADA(.dae, .xml) line will appear. I have .xml line, just not .dae! I need help. Is there another way?

COLLADA (.dae, .xml) isn't there. I installed COLLADA, too.

you need to install AIS for the dae importing. its on mariokart's guide and miacis's guide.

This is what happens right when I open AIS up.

I fixed my problem! I download COLLADA v3.05(something like that). 3.05 Apparently skips importing for 3DS Max8. I then downloaded 3.04 and I saw it had 3DS Max8. I can vertex now! Thanks for your help.
