Title: How to make DK's backhair stop moving around?? Post by: Weyard on January 21, 2011, 04:04:06 PM I'm nearing completion on my Hihidaruma/Darmanitan DK, but I've run into a problem that I can't seem to fix.
I used two of his backhair polygons to make the red portion of his eyebrows. The first one worked fine, and during gameplay it sits in place. However the 2nd one stretches around horribly during gameplay. His backhair obviously doesn't have separate bones, so I can't figure why it's moving around like that. Is this due to some wind-blown physics that this portion would normally experience? Is there anyway to make this polygon stop moving around? Perhaps in the materials section?? Please be swift with your responses, as I'd really like to release Hihidaruma sometime this week. Thanks you in advance. Title: Re: How to make DK's backhair stop moving around?? Post by: VILE on January 22, 2011, 12:56:24 AM You would have to go to the vertex weights of those specific vertices and set the weight to 0.

Title: Re: How to make DK's backhair stop moving around?? Post by: VILE on January 22, 2011, 11:24:38 AM Because it's not in there >.> You have to do it manually, in a hex editor.

Are there any guides for this? I have very little experience in Hex. Title: Re: How to make DK's backhair stop moving around?? Post by: VILE on January 22, 2011, 11:58:47 AM There are only a few people who know how to edit vertex weights, I remember getting them explained to me by Pharrox but I can't remember them too well.
Title: Re: How to make DK's backhair stop moving around?? Post by: Weyard on January 22, 2011, 12:33:56 PM I just searched around and saw several threads with people asking about it, but no one seemed to know anything about it. I guess I'll just remove that piece then and forget it then. Thanks.
