If I were to make a custom pack and post it on the Brawl Vault, would I have to ask for permission to use it in a custom pack first or could I just give credit to them when I post it? :srs:
It is best to ask first.
Some people don't mind you using them, but others may get annoyed.

If the any one of the hacks isn't modified at all, or BARELY modified, you may NOT post it in the vault.

Do you mean like, not noticeable in-games, or not major texture hats
Color/retextures should be fine, so long as you:
1. Ask premission
2. Give credit/set the original creator as another hack author in the collaboration thing.
If you've made a pack of unedited existing hacks, you can't put that on the vault, but you can make a thread with a mediafire link.
