Title: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on February 27, 2011, 05:53:20 AM I've been trying to get this to work all night.
It freezes when I select the Alloys, Samus, Zelda, Giga. All the characters that aren't supposed to be there. And if I select any other character it doesn't let me play as that character it gives me a random one. And the characters portrait is different then the character it gives me. Somebody please tell me how to get this working. I've read the thread entirely over like ten times. What am I missing? Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Juri Han on February 27, 2011, 12:05:13 PM It sounds like you might be using the wrong codes (at least, I think so.)
I had the same problem a while back, and I just needed to edit my GCT file. I think these codes are the ones needed for the FB CSS. I use these and it never freezes. Hopefully it's the same for you. Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on February 27, 2011, 04:47:03 PM Hmm I used just those codes, and I still got the same problems...
Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on February 27, 2011, 05:11:16 PM Alright so I got it to work by not erasing the *'s on the independent pokemon engine + no wreck my music.
I added the codes on his page. The "GIGA BOWSER/WARIOMAN/ALLOYS CODES" codes. But it just freezes after selecting a stage if I pick one of them. Any idea why? Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: nanobuds on February 27, 2011, 08:11:58 PM this should work. the *'s dont matter.
Code: ASF1nk's Custom CSS V2 [spunit262] [18 lines] Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: nanobuds on February 27, 2011, 08:16:29 PM if you want i can give you codes that replace all the alloys, warioman, and giga over the ZSS slot on the Flaming Blue CSS. however she will still appear in random. and unless u have a code, samus will still transform into her
Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on February 27, 2011, 08:40:35 PM First I want to try and sort this out.
It didn't work... Kay I feel kinda dumb for not mentioning this, but I'm using Dolphin. Not that it should really matter, everything other code has worked so far. If all the codes are on I get this... Selecting Alloys/Giga/Wario freezes after selecting stage. Other characters are messed up (ex. Choosing Mario selects an alternate costume mario, choosing Game And Watch selects... a single Ice Climber? wtf? And all characters always have regular Marios portrait) Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: nanobuds on February 27, 2011, 08:48:31 PM use gecko
Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on February 27, 2011, 11:32:46 PM Dolphin uses Gecko.
I put the Gecko codes right into Dolphin. And do you think you can send me that Alloys over ZSS thing? I'd like to try it. Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: flyinelk212 on February 28, 2011, 06:51:43 AM I just recently had a problem similar to this, using the flaming blue CSS and having my game freeze when I try to select a stage. For me, it was a simple matter of "unknown codes" showing up in my RSBE01.gct file. What method are you using for writing in the codes?
I initially used GCTEdit, which gave me the freezing problem. After writing the codes in a .txt file and outputting them using "Code Manager", the problem was fixed. So it might just be that you have to use a more reliable code writing program. If you haven't yet, try re-writing the codes in using Code Manager. If that doesn't work/you're using Code Manager, then I'll think of something else it could be... Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Rayn on February 28, 2011, 08:36:07 AM gecko always froze for me when I got to the SSS no matter what I did.
That's why i switched to Riivo. Title: Re: Flaming Blue CSS Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on February 28, 2011, 10:07:48 PM Thanks for the replies guys but Nanobuds custom code actually fixed it. : D
