i have jus recently switched to beyondyou's gecko os to riivolution hack and now my game freezes whenever i get past the strap loader. i've deleted my sc_selmap and sc_selcharacter and put them into a common 5 pac and it still won't work. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated  :af:

Common5 doesn't work for me either, I use Riivolution. I tried a few times.

Yep. I have that problem too. I just gave up.

so no one's helping eh? i really didn't want to switch back to gecko but it looks like i don't have much of a choice :(

I talked to my friend, and apparently you can just extract all the stuff you want from the common5 and just put it in the ssbb folder. However, this is kind of a waste of time/space if you want to do it with a lot of characters/stages. Just a suggestion.

I don't know what could be wrong. My Common5 works fine for me. I'll try and find an answer.

In the meantime: make sure your common5 isn't past the limit.

did you take off the File Patch Code from your .gct file?

yah i did
change my gct that is. and also i thought their was now size limit while using riivolution

remove or back up your current riivo set up
I made a tutorial a while ago which defintely work, with my simple method you can just use the sc_selcharacter_en.pac and the selmap_en:P

well for Riivolution you need to make sure that the Common5.pac file is now named to Common5_en.pac

if it still freezes PM me. ill give you a Common5_en.pac that works for Riivo.
