I thought it'd be a great idea to set up a sort of community project of incorporating characters from games like Marvel vs Capcom 1/2/3 and the Street Fighter series as well as loads of other series into Brawl!  This is less going to be a pack, and more a sort of resource thread for all things Marvel and Capcom.  Feel free to post both new and existing stuff, all kinds of hacks are accepted!

I'll keep adding the stuff that you guys put into this OP.  When you contribute, it would ideal if you include a thumbnail and a Brawlvault link of what you're contributing (the thumbnail doesn't necessarily have to be of what it is in Brawl, as long as the Brawlvault link has pictures of the actual product it's fine.

I really hope that together we can develop an even better substitute for essentially Nintendo vs Capcom!

I'm surprised that you didn't post the Viewtiful Joe and Zero movesets... or did you get permission for the ones you posted?

The problem is we don't have a moveset that mimics Zero's moveset. From those games.

Yeah. The Zero team needs animators before that can happen.
What they have now is basically a Dissidia Zero ghost.
Only those who played Dissidia would know what I mean.

Exactly, so that's why SSJC needs a layout of the MvC3 CSS, so he can make the SSBB CSS look like the MvC3 CSS.

Since SSJ might not do it, I could make a CSS of my own, if SSJ himself doesn't mind.

Also, I could set up the brtsms so that they match the music that should be replaced.

I don't mind at all, it'd be better if you did it anyway. Although, I know bero has a sexy MvC CSS you guys would love :)

i'm making the moveset/ animations. seeing how it's been needed for a while now.

So you can count Ryu in for sure.

I got the CSP layout done:


The characters are all jumbled up, so there isn't a specific layout. I need to know how to take the character names off the little Portaits, and I need the characters to stare left or right like it is in the MvC3 Character Selection Screen.

How cool! I made a CSS kinda like that before (styled after Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2), but I like yours better! This one is mine:

Scale it using the little area I poorly circled, lol (yeah you can use the other axis' as well, although the Z axis makes the icon "pop out" so to speak). It works with CSS icons too :3

Anywho, the CSS is going along well. I found a suitable, but not exact background. Also, I am also able to change the color of the border of the Character's CSS. I'm hoping that I can change the portraits of the characters before they get selected so that it will look black with a white border.
