Title: BRSTM Help Post by: dragonhero85 on March 13, 2011, 11:50:48 AM How do I change the starting point of a brstm?
Title: Re: BRSTM Help Post by: mnsg on March 13, 2011, 03:22:40 PM Technically, you can't change the starting point of BRSTM files. However, you can set up a Start Loop Point for when your BRSTM ends.
Keep in mind, however, that the Start Loop Point has to be a multiple of 14336. I do it all the time when I get new songs for my iPod and I used that program to cut out unwanted parts of the song.
Keep in mind, however, that the Start Loop Point has to be a multiple of 14336. I never do that but all my looped songs are fine. So why does this need to be done? Title: Re: BRSTM Help Post by: mnsg on March 13, 2011, 03:58:09 PM Last I checked, if the starting loop point is not a multiple of 14336 when you make your BRSTM, BrawlBox will modify the BRSTM so that the starting loop point is set at a multiple of 14336. The end loop point isn't affected though.
Basically, the start loop point formula is... [Start Loop Point] = 14336 * [Integer] Title: Re: BRSTM Help Post by: Segtendo on March 13, 2011, 09:07:56 PM Keep in mind, however, that the Start Loop Point has to be a multiple of 14336. Title: Re: BRSTM Help Post by: vm19961126 on March 14, 2011, 09:14:13 AM Oh wel I make them in brawlbox but yeah if you check the starting point in brawlbox when your finished there's a number which is a multiple of 14336 but the looping point is still the same as you wanted... or something like that, if this didn't make scense to you, its alright, i'm realy tired and I'm not english so... xD
Title: Re: BRSTM Help Post by: (specter) on March 14, 2011, 02:30:21 PM All of Brawl's BRSTM start loops are a multiple of 14336. Custom loop points aren't really my thing. I ALWAYS make BRSTMs with a normal 14336 multiple, like how MNSG explains it. Oh so it does it automatically for you? But also in BCSM-GUI it always told me my loop wasn't divisible by 14336 but it still made it for me anyway and it looped fine. |
