Title: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: Psycho Philia on March 13, 2011, 02:16:55 PM Here is my problem, I made some sounds for Marth which are Kratos Aurion sounds in japanese. But I need to use Psa program to assign each sound to each animation there are. How can I do this? How can I precisely control what sound I put will be assigned to an animation? Divine Overlord said it would require Marth's sfx id, if these are indeed required, how can we find them? Thank you for helping me! Because I'm sure it will be useful!

you need those things if you want to replace marths SFX, but to use the sounds you wil need riivolution :P Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: Psycho Philia on March 13, 2011, 03:10:51 PM You didn't understood a single thing... The voices are already put on Marth's sounds, they play in Brawlbox. But it is the Psa program from what I've heard which control what sound is played when and for what animation. And I asked some help because I don't know how to do this.
And besides, what you say is false, Sawndz is not always needed, you can do the way by hand, by using Hxd what I used in fact, and to use the sounds, you can inject the smashbros sound.brsar if you don't have Riivolution. Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: vm19961126 on March 13, 2011, 03:21:26 PM No, I just said sawndz because that's an easier way to use custom sound effects -_-
and, brawlboox, I thought you could only play those sounds in smashbox...:S but anyway... if you replaced the sound with the sound you don't want, why do you also want to edit it with PSA, I think that doesn't make sense... Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: Psycho Philia on March 13, 2011, 03:31:11 PM I'm not sure sawndz allow you to replace sounds with longer sounds than usual, and I'm completely in this case with what I've done...
Brawlbox can be used too, you didn't see my tutorial it seems, fortunately it works with Brawlbox too, because previews with my computer with Smashbox doesn't work. And before saying that doesn't make sense, go download Kratos psa made by Divine Overlord, you will understand why I want to use Psa to control how to activate sounds for animations. I leave you the surprise, and wish you have fun if you test this Psa. Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: vm19961126 on March 14, 2011, 09:18:24 AM Well okay then sorry if I couldn't or if I was just wasting your time lol,
but yeah I figured out a while ago that if you open up a pac file of your character and go to subaction and click on a box with a tiny arrow, you can choose SFX and then you can change some numbers so the sound will play on a different time or something, but you (maybe) already know that by now or not? xD but eah if this wasn;t what you're looking for, i'm sorry I can't help you :P... Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: Psycho Philia on March 14, 2011, 09:22:51 AM Yeah I already know that we can change some numbers so the sound will play for example on a different animation, but what I don't know in fact is to for example make play the wave 1 for the animation fireball when Kratos casts it. And here, it will probably need to figure Marth's sfx id, so we need help Divine Overlord and I for this, even if we're still searching. And no problem don't worry about your mistake.
Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: vm19961126 on March 14, 2011, 09:57:26 AM haha Okay hmm maybe if you search for the sound you want in smash/brawlbox, maybe in in one of those programs is the number you'll need...(?)
wel yeah that's the last thing I could think off... Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: Psycho Philia on March 14, 2011, 10:01:31 AM I already tried this, but unfortunately I didn't found a single thing that can at least make me do a little progress...
Title: Re: Help for sfx with Psa program. Post by: Psycho Philia on March 14, 2011, 10:16:03 AM Thank you very much! You can't guess at what point you helped me and Divine Overlord too! A tutorial would be good indeed! I will try this immediately and I'm sure I will succeed!
