Title: Help, Weird bug happening w/ my map objects.
Post by: PlagueX on April 02, 2011, 08:50:40 PM
I have created 3 objects in the background in my map and 1 animation file that has each of their bones in (I'm stating this because I am new to this and need to make sure I am doin it right.) In the preview in brawl box everything looks normal, in game only 2/3 of my objects r there and when I test the map w/ a bot, a huge line of color spreads across my screen when the bot is moving for a seccond and then the bot dies, the color goes away, and the whole color glitch thing repeats until the game is over. I have no idea wat is going on, can someone please help me?

that sounds like a texture error, try to figure out which model is causing it by removing 1 at a time, then when you've found it, import its texture in a different format, and before that, make sure you have all the textures you need named correctly.

The thing is all 3 objects only use 2 textures and they r all using the same 2 textures. I checked and everything is named correctly. the only thing i can think of is somehow the coordinates on 1 of the objects is somehow messing the texture up or something? 2 of the objects r exactly the same and 1 of them is different. the 2 that r the same r fine, but the 1 tht is different is not showing up.

edit:

it cld also b the animation file i added tht has all of their bones. This file has properties: FrameCount and Unknown1-3. I am not sure wat to put for these
