I haven't tested this but, I believe the szs modifier has a .obj importer to change an obj file into a mdl0.
So I guess you could use this to import stages from the models resource, this would make making stages easier. If this has been done already then please tell me. :af:

IDK if it's been done...
this is honestly the first I'm hearing of szs,
and I can't find the source :/

This is a rather old finding. They first started playing around with this here: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=279756

But it was glitchy and there were filesize issues so it never came into widespread use.

Melee models are truely a piece of work

the structure starts from a single point,
and everything is linked as it goes down the tree

I'm just curious about the relocation table, and what the node strings mean means :/
