try to slide it maybe it is... I'm always confused with those slider things...
Has the SD card reached it's size limit?
Can you open the SD card in your computer?

this too, maybe your sd is just broken or something
"In order to use Brawl hacks such as textures, models hacks, or PSAs, you first have to have some method of loading Homebrew. All of these methods require an SD Card. To see if your SD Card is compatible, check here: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/SD/SDHC_Card_Compatibility_Tests. If you already have Homebrew installed"

yes
and no, i just bought a brand new sd, and put it in without putting it in my computer or anything. i took it right out of the package, put it in, and TA DA!! a total piece of s***
and it's NOT sdhc!
You basically put a blank SD card into your wii expecting it to work...*facepalm*
And the first question is a no if it's brand new.
Oh, one more thing...
*chucks smasherofhyrule through of window* :P

this...
dude realy? ofcourse brawl wont read it, theres nothing on it to read...
The reason why it won't save is because you haven't set up a directory where brawl can save.

Even with hacks (private/wii/app/RSBE etc.) it doesn't work with the file patch code or saved data. I'm pretty sure btw that it works without making a directory. As far as i know it creates a directory automaticly
Incorrect directory.
private/wii/app/RSBE/pf
If it does then are you using gecko or riivo?
i do put it in pf/, and im using gecko
and the directorys before it?
Does the RSBE file contain these files? al, pf, rp, st
And what are you trying to save?
just pf
Add in a al, rp, and st file and try saving in brawl again.
gettin' late, I'm gonna hit the sack and get back to this tomorrow
Alright, i'll be waiting :P
SanDisk brand SD cards tend to be the best ones to use with the Wii.
u can also try reformating it to fat32 not all sd cards i've bought in the proper format straight out of the package

Shouldn't the SD card's file system be FAT? That's what my SD card is set at.
I use an 8GB Kodak SD Card.

That has to be an SDHC card that you're using. Standard SD cards almost never use more than 2 GB.

Yes it is an SDHC. I use Riivolution.
I don't think the problem has to do with directories, i think it might be a problem with my wii. If i use ocarina or older versions of gecko, it says "sd error".
well, just what is your directory, I mean, maybe it isĀ the problem...
