Title: Riivolution Not Taking .GCT codes!

Yeah, I got my .GCT files for custom stages, freedom of rotation on pause and a few other things...Yet when I load it with Riivolution, nothing is put into play.

Not only that, but my added CSPs from Gecko are missing. I got rid of the sel_character thing and put it in the common5 place, but that doesn't do any good either.

I REALLY hate asking  so many questions here, but I'm new to Riivolution, and I need help!

download the XML from the official riivo page
then
make your file path as the file patch code
and find a customised ocarina xml that supports more then 256 line of code

and then put your sc_selcharacter_en.pac in your menu2 folder...

sorry can't provide a ocarina xml, cuzz I don't know where to find it, and I dont have one either

the ocarina xml is on the riivolution wiki. search patch templates and it should be there

WAITWAITWAIT! You NEED the sel_character folder?! THEY TOLD ME I DIDN'T!

sel_character folder? you need the sc_selcharacter_en.pac in the menu2 folder... And yes its called sc_selcharacter_EN.pac, so the en is needed to work with riivo, cuz the files have to be named as they are on the wiidisc

they say lotsa stuff, but all that is not true... yyou CAN use a selcharacter, and selmap and stuff...

I have the same exact problem but I use the old method of Riivo, my CSP's still show up though

are you using BeyondYou's riivoultion pack? if so, codes go in the PF folder

I'm having a similar problem; I've downloaded and am using Drakemaster's Multiboot XML, and:
1. I now don't know where to put the .gct and...
2. which "hook" am I supposed to use, ( it could be that the .gct is in the wrong place, but every hook I set it on causes Riivo to not load the game)
if anyone can help me, please speak up, thanks
