i can tell that this was a quick texture to make. What to know y? The clothes dont look like clothes. They look like they r pasted on her. Try to add shading to her skin so it doesnt end up looking like a bulk of polygons when light is cast upon her. Make the illusion so the clothes look like clothes and r seperate from her body. To do this just take the burn tool and shade around the clothing area to give the illusion on 3D. Make the belly button look more apparent. After looking at it a second time u need shading on the boots too. They look like a blob of pure blue. Make the top line up with the back (I know its hard to do, I made a ZSS texture and it was hard to line it up in the back and over the shoulder) Also make the body more tan . This includes makeing the face more tan as well. Take a look at her arm braclet things. Pay notice to those finer details. Look at every creace every fold and make those ajustments when nessesary.

Anyway thats all I have to say for now. I'm srry if I sounded negative in any way but thats my opinion of it.

Also pay head to the qoute in my sig. This is one of the many qoutes that any texture artist should take to heart.

Yeah, just use the burn tool, it's cheap, but really helpful.
but, hey, you're new here, so it's not expected to have an extremely super duper mega awesome cream filled chocolatey texture on the first day.

anyways, I hope you get to make more textures in the future.
:)

Fireking220

First I want to say thank you very much for the criticism and tips. Honestly I'm glad you replied with such criticism. Most of my first attempts at modding result in "You are Terrible" comments.

Second I forgot to say that this is not the finished version. I am still working on it and this is just a prieview of what I have done so far. And you guessed right about the speed, I did this whole thing in two nights. So excuse the fact that she looks like a pasty white cheerleader, with rough looking clothes.

And thanks for telling me what tool to use, I forgot what it was called so thanxs for reminding me.

@fireking220

Does this look any better to you?

I didnt have much time to modify cuz my scedule is tight, I was able to make her more tan and add a little bit of shading.

the skin is spot on with the picture. All u need to do is to do all the other stuff i said and it will be perfect. Don't be afraid to add a little of ur own flair as well. Can't wait to c the final version!

The skin is better, but I'd paint some more muscle definition.

@pik

Like how much muscle definition? Honestly. Don't like my girls very muscular so that seems like something minor that I may no fix for a long time.

Muscular women scare me too, but you can see muscles on normal women also. Don't put a full-blown six-pack, but things that would make her more realistic.

The reference picture of samus is a good example. If you can't see any on her, I'd be happy to point them out.

If not, adding more shading can help. I see you already shaded it a little though.

Oh wow, for a quickie, it sure is accurate to the source!
Though I think, if you can, you should change where the lines on the Zero Suit go on the top there.  On the Fusion one, they go to the sides, not to her shoulders.  =P
I think the next time you take shots, take it on a place where there's the default lighting [like Yoshi's Island], as it's kinda hard to tell you changed the skin color on those two shots.  (At least for me, it is)

It's definitely better than the one I have currently, so I'll be keeping an eye on yours and hope the final comes very soon.  =)

I thought this was so sexy back then :P
But nintendo went and changed her apperance by giving her that entire suit that covered her body :(

Nice to see it brought back.. This is how ZSS should have been ..hurr;
