Title: animating imported models Post by: bleachmagic on April 29, 2011, 09:46:30 PM o.k i recently decided to try importing models to brawl, well i suceeded in doing so but the model is in constant t stance is there a guide on how to animate the model?,if so it would be a big help if not can someone tell what i need to do i was hoping i could just simply port him over one of the zako's and be done but no such luck i did port in the sephiroth model(for R.O.B)but with t stance so i guess what i am really asking is there a way to just give him the moveset of the character im porting him over?
Title: Re: animating imported models Post by: IWasAPerson on April 29, 2011, 09:53:57 PM To make this answer as short as possible: the model's in a t-stance because the bones are different and the animations don't use those bones. Your best bet is to either fix the bone structure of your import or create entirely new animations.
Though, what model did you import exactly? I may be able to give you more specific help if I know what you're dealing with. Model imports are usually never a cut-and-paste job, you're going to have to do a lot of work on them. Less so if you're using them over Alloys, but the bone structure can still be a complete pain.
