Title: Possible way to load project M on a pal wii?
Post by: DTST on May 02, 2011, 04:50:19 AM
To load project M on a nstc wii you have to load brawl and go to the stage builder but is there a some kind of strategy to load in on a pal wii? I have a us brawl disk but obviously the disk reader can't read it without riivolution or gecko

Should work fine other than making the codes PAL compatible and no music, I don't think there is many PAL codes out there either so i'd use a NTSC iso with usb loader.

project M has its own gecko loader and to get it you need to go to the stage builder option only on a US brawl disk without loading with anything else gecko riivolution ect

they just load gecko from stage builder (they use smash stack which is also there for pal) its cause they dont have homebrew channel it functions the same as gecko on Homebrew Channel. and for PM to work on pal you would nedd to port ALL the codes which is REALLY hard and barely anyone is willing to do it.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, you're unable to install gecko/riivolution since you can't access the US Brawl's stage builder on your PAL wii?

You'll have to use either a PAL disc to install homebrew, or use another type of installation method.

No I have gecko and riivolution on my wii and a US brawl disk but a pal wii and to load project M you have to load US brawl from disk launcher and go to stage builder I can't do that because obviously my wii is pal so it can't load my US disk like normal

i think u can run other region games thru gecko cant u? if so just use that. all the stage builder is, is a way to run the boot.elf file (gecko or riivo) skip that step and start at the riivo/gecko part

i dont think you understand, they use stage builder to load the DOL for GECKO. You should just load gecko from homebrew channel and load Project m.
