Title: Brawl ISO injection help!! - brawl doesn't boot from usb loader Post by: Diddy Kong on May 03, 2011, 03:02:18 PM I just finished replacing nearly 120 brstm files in the brawl iso, then i go to test it, only to find out that when i launch brawl, it doesn't boot, or maybe it's crashing before the strap loader.
(the size of the game is larger than the size of the un-injected iso, but still roughly around 7 gigs) oh and i deleted the VC GAME partition.... Title: Re: Brawl ISO injection help!! - brawl doesn't boot from usb loader Post by: Vyse on May 03, 2011, 03:07:07 PM Hope you kept a backup.
Which version of Wiiscrubber were you using? To my knowledge, 1.21 is still the best one to use for Brawl. Did you change music titles in info.pac? An error there can cause the problem you described, I think. Title: Re: Brawl ISO injection help!! - brawl doesn't boot from usb loader Post by: mnsg on May 03, 2011, 04:15:21 PM I have used WIIScrubber 1.4 while making my custom ISOs for Mario Kart Wii and New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but those are single-layered ISOs. I don't know if dual-layered ISOs would work too.

and yes, I have a backup, (i got it from ripping it with usbl oader GX and using the WBFS manager to extract it to my comp) Title: Re: Brawl ISO injection help!! - brawl doesn't boot from usb loader Post by: mnsg on May 03, 2011, 08:50:57 PM One way to counter the partition replacement issue is to delete the original partition, and then import the new one. I had to do that each time I wanted to update my custom Mario Kart Wii ISO.
