Title: Update: Kakashi Stalled (NB issues >_<) Other projects started <3

I give up! >_<
Hollows tutorial, I followed it to the damned letter TWICE, starting from scratch. And it still freezes >_>
Untill I figure out what the f* is going on, Kakashi is stalled for a while.
I will however  be starting two projects in the meantime. If anyone wants, I can release a beta of him with just the smashes and A attacks :l

Captain Basilisx(SMBZ): A colaberation between Me, Zed, and Aniverge, he will be over Yoshi. Credit will be given to Shadowsnake for his dry bones classic model which I'm using as a base for the vertex.

Project Fox: It's a secret, sorry :P no information till I actually have something to show you guys XD

Sounds like a plan.

The final smash really works a bit like Meta Knights, but meh, it is Monkeyo Sharingan so I gave it different effects. (Instead of dragging them into darkness and all that)

Kakashi's perfect for brawl since he's mainly a hand to hand guy with only a few jutsus. :D

I may revize the final smash for a different effect. Hell, it could easilly be remade into Toksoyomi, but then it'd be a new version of MK's FS XD that and Toksoyomi is itachi's move :P

The thousand Years of Pain is more or less for comic relief, and not a serious enough move to be used as a special.

It works as a side smash, or even a down smash, cause it would be more frequently used.

lol the person who made the animation for it had it as a taunt, but I had the idea to make it a side smash and requested a start, and charging animation for it.

For his taunts I will need these animations, the person that made the thousand years of death taunt already has the first one covered.
Up Taunt: Kakashi gets his book out, looks at it, then puts it away.
quite "Let's get on with it"
Side Taunt: He scratches the back of his head sheepishly as he looks toward the player.

Down Taunt: He pretends like hes about to do a jutsu, then he reaches for his face mask and acts like he pulls it down. As he pulls it down a bright flash appears on the screen and opponents that are close to him will be "stunned" (like dekunut stun) from the flash and take 5% damage.

What if when the third jab hits at a very spasific time, and in the sweetspot. He does One Thousand Years Of Pain as a followup XD

Though, I still like the idea of it being a side or down smash.

yeah, possibly a Kunai uppercut like the ones they have in CON3 or any other Naruto Game that doesn't suck balls XD

Maybe I'll vertex the granade for his exploding kunai, or the rocket from his morter launcher since that's already part of his up smash O_o

Yeah, Cypher would be better for the kunai than the box methinks, cause the box is treated like an item that everybody can use :l

This kakashi is more loyal to canon(In case you didn't notice, kakashi doesn't have a f*ing giant shurikan. Only time he had one was when he caught sasukes during the fight with zabuza) and he only has his SIGNATURE jutsu and mudd wall.
It's my idea and I like kakashi too, so I'm doin it.

He'll play a LOT differently than the other one, and I'm using the CON3 kakashi vertex, not the unrealistic looking one in that thread.

^ lol fixed for the truth bro 8) I just looked at the other kakashi psa, kakashi never used that many of other peoples jutsus. I've seen him use other jutsus against his opponent to block/nullify the attack, but otherwise I haven't seen him use them. that is, jutsus other than chidori and his shadow clone, and his monkeyo or however it's spelled XP (don't hate me if I spelled it wrong please XD)

And just cause he has sharingan doesn't automatically mean he'll use a fireball jutsu, since he's not from the Uchiha's. From my viewings he has and always will be a mainly mele kind of guy unless the fight gets too thick.

I think the only thing that really needs refining are his smashes and final smash atm. If my Kakashi is similar to the one from Naruto or the CON games, I'll keep his specials as is, o and I might revamp the FS concept, unless it's fine as it is?

I made my moveset more anime-related. Because people who play naruto games probably watched the anime before.

And the FS could use some revamping. Just a stun? Its a Jutsu that can distort space and time! It can't just "stun" someone.

And personally, I prefer ground and aerial specials being the same. Or at least related in a way.

Also, what other anims do you think you could do?

I've decided that One Thousand Years of Death will be his down smash if you could manage that <3

Also, for his final smash, I thought of a good (and funny) idea for the anime reference.
First he says: Alright, if you really want to know...
Then he turns toward the player slowly
Then he says: behind this mask is....
Then he slowly acts like he's going to remove his mask.

When he removes it, there's a huge, bright flash of light around him. All enemies on stage are Stunned and take 30% Damage.

The light vanishes and he says: it's another mask~
And there's an awkwardness explosion that sends opponents flying XD

As for his arial specials I thought about this.

Neutral B: Chidori Spear, he extends it out in front of him like a lance. It shocks the enemies three times doing 8% damage with some decent knockback

Side B: Chidori Senbon: he throws a few chidori senbon in a sideways/downward angle. They don't hit very hard (5% damage each) but they stun the opponent (like ZSS's Stun) leaving room for a combo if desired.

Down B: A flying kick, similar to zss's

Up B is the same since I find it rather fitting for a recovery move.

Okay, I figured this project would be a good chance for me to learn how to animate.
I'm making the side and up smash One thousand years of death, simply due to the simplicity of the move and it's hilarious.

I HAD a perfectly good start animation, but I closed the window out without exporting it T-T
*smacks self for being stupid*
Though I would need help making  stuff like wait one and all that.

I need to find the handseals to chidori spear, cause I'd like to use that as his side B (It'll be chargable up to three times. Down B will be mudwall if I can figure out a way to make the stone platform that comes up.

for the stone wall... i could get a model from Naruto Shippuden Dragon Blade Chronicles... and gets the mud wall from that game.

Although I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I doubt we'll be able to get any closer to the real thing than that. If you're wondering why the hands are uneven, it's the only way I could have it so that the fingers looked interlocked <3

If I sent you the file do you think you could make a "hold" animation for me, I mean "hold" as in the charging animation for the smash attack. Also, the file will come up as Wait 1, don't worry bout that cause I made it from the wait 1 animation. It's only nine frames.

I might make the down B his head hunter jutsu too, just to keep him more kakashi-style and not some overloaded jutsu kakashi >_>

I can't wait to get started on this, but I want to have all the animations ready before I do that. We don't really need wait 1 etc cause snake already kinda moves like kakashi.

It's alright, I figured out a way to make it look like a charging animation for a smash attack using the same frame. XD

The S4S, Hi4, and Lw4 are the smashes. S4S Hold, Hi4 Hold, and Lw4 Hold are the charging animations for the smash attacks, And S4S Start, Hi4Start, and Lw4 start are the startup animations.

Also, I finished EVERYTHING but arials, FS, and specials right now. I will work on specials tomorow and hopefully get started on the psa soon :)
I have some nice ideas for the neutral special so it's more than just a B move that's chargable. Of course, I will need help animating the third charge :D

EDIT: Note that Everything does not include stuff like wait2, trip attack etc, it's just the a button moves :)

Okay :) btw I've decided to do Kakashi's variant of the Chidori Handseals as a start animation for normal Chidori and Chidori Spear. Only cause they're simpler and I can't find the proper seals for Chidori spear anywhere T_T

When you get to a sauske level where you have that jutsu please see if he does handseals. Wait...I have it myself too XD sucks balls that dbc doesn't have online play. XP

Chidori Senbon will probably have propper handseals though.

I guess he just quickly activates it with the last handseal then? (the one for holding the lightning) That's good, it saves me time animating :)

I don't know what I'm gonna do for chidori senbon :l I might have to think of something else since I haven't seen kakashi use it XP

Maybe his Water Vortex Jutsu that he used to slam Zabuza into that tree? O_0 XD

Anyway almost finished with the start animation for his neutral special. I might use the same trick I did for the side smash for his charging animation.

Do you think you could make him do a running animation like he's holding the chidori with his right arm? I'm gonna need that for the final charge of my neutral special

Is 31 frames too fast?  I think it's just fast enough :) At least for a "start" animation anyway.

I can't believe how close we are to finishing up the custom anims @_o
True they all probably need polishing, but that's what betas are for! XD

i havent searched in the VS file... or in the spc folder yet... i should look in those O.o

I'm sorry to sorta force that animation on you lol, but every time I try it I get the shoulders outta wack X_X and then everything gets difficult :l
I'll probably be able to do the Air A's, and the neutral special/side special though :)

I refined the start animation for the side smash(One thousand years of pain ftw) and it looks MUCH better, and I cut it down to 13 frames.

lol it's fox's seconda combo lol

I took the last frame of the start animation for my lightning blade, and pasted that to the first frame of a new animation. Then I took the frame where he has his fist near his waist for drawing back to punch, and paisted it at about frame 13/15. then I took the frame where he has his arm stretched out all the way for the punch and posted it at frame 20. Finally I took a frame from snakes wait animation and put it on frame 30. After that it took a LOT of tweeking on smaller stuff, but it looks pretty good for a first animation :)

I hope these anims work in game as good as they do in the BB, otherwise we're screwed XD

Have you tested any of my anims in game yet?
With this, the mudd wall model, and the side smash attack, I think he will be just fine as a Pre-shippuden Kakashi :)

Actually he'll be more like an Episode 1-35 Kakashi XD with some extras of course, but they're more based on like, say a Capcom VS Shonin version of him lol

This one is based more on how I see him working if he was a in a Shonen Jump VS Capcom (which would be Fing AWESOME if they did that XD) game, he's very simple to play as, and hopefully his specials will turn out the way that I'm hoping they are.

I had to wait some time to get the animations myself XP I still need to do the down smash over since the animations are weird.  We do have the mud wall model from Dragon Blade Chronicals. I'm not sure how i'm gonna get that to work in-game either XD

I could probably get started on the A's and N b soon though. Might work on the A combo tonight after I'm done catching up on all the rp's I'm in ^+^;

Yes, but he was forming the handseals at a much quicker pace. We're talking pre-shippuden kakashi, not the one who used his jutsus like crazy in a fight lol the first time he took forever to do it, well, he technically took the same amount of time to do the handseals.

make just 2 or 3 selals and repeat them like 10 times and thats it dont need to be that exact also i think i saw some hack with some kind of attack that looked like a beam of water and a dragon head  but i dont know wich one :S

I'm Remaking the Neutral B anims because I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the handseals in them. The Ox handseal now looks MUCH better, I'm going to post screenshots of the handseals in brawl soon.

May I give you a suggestion? In case it works, you should revamp your pics of your neutral A combo so that it is much easier to see the pics themselves. And you should also, again in the case it works, post the pics of your revamped neutral B by using the program I gave you, after have taken photos with Brawl.

Okays, Remade the starting animation for his Raikari.
It is now only 20 frames long and looks MUCH better than the last one. I found out that the extra frames inbetween each handseal was what kept making his wrists spin around all spazzy like.

He still does each handseal AND it's his variant of the chidori, not the normal chidori handseals that Sasuke uses.

For the charging animation, should he raise his arms above his head and then crouch down like he does in the anime?

It's called Galick Gun, not garlick gun.
Go in-game of DBZ BT 3 and you'll see it say "Galick Gun" when you use the move.

It's called Galick Gun, not garlick gun.
Go in-game of DBZ BT 3 and you'll see it say "Galick Gun" when you use the move.

The only thing I really need is for aniverge to do is to get the NB to do the three charages, I have my own ideas on how the move is going to look/work XP

It was late when I made that post so I didn't have much time to do that lol
Do you want the files in one zip file or do you want them in seperate downloads?

BTW I have three pac files.
FitSnake3: This is the one with the smashes and A button attacks. If you could figure out how to remove the graphic from his down smash that'd be great. Also if you could have his smashers do standard C teir knockback/damage ^+^
FitSnakeNB: This is just the pac with all of the coding from Hollow's N B tutorial.
FitSnakeNBTest: This is the pac I used to test if it would do the three seperate charges in-game, However I only got as far as pressing the B button before the annoying beep of doom XD

       Have you considered making one of his wait stances reading Make Out Paradise? I think for an early series Kakashi it would make a fitting wait stance as well as taunt.  Maybe have him flip the pages every once in a while.

       I was also thinking your down B could be the earth jutsu Kakashi used on Sasuke during their survival training where he disappeared underground, had his hand pop out and then pulled Sasuke underground with him.  I believe that was in episode 3 or 4 of the anime.  It would be like the pitfall item that sticks people into the ground. Perhaps for the attack Kakashi would go into the ground, you then use the analog stick to position him, push B again and he grabs at whoever might be where you are and pull them in.  

       I really like the way this is coming along. Those seals are great and are gonna give Kakashi a genuine feel that it just wouldn't without them. Hopefully you can get this issue resolved with the neutral B. I'd love to see this PSA come to fruition. I'm also looking forward to the Mario Bros. moveset when you get around to that. Much cooler than the Ice Climbers, that's for sure.

I've Sent SD the animations and asked him to get the charging and rolling out of the charges to work. It's just that part of the coding I've asked him to do so it shouldn't take him long. I didn't get a definate date though.

Can you get it so that you can roll out of the dodge like Samus's charge shot?
It'd be really useful ^+^

BTW can you even see the handseals in-game XD I can slow the animation down a little lol with a frame speed modifier of course, cause well yeah...adding more frames would make the arms go all weird inbetween the different seals :l

Yeah, roll out of the attack, but keep whatever charge you're on, like Samus's Beam Canon (her special, not her final smash)
