Yeah, I said I was going to take a break from hacks, but I wanted to give making perfect CSPs a shot. Not as hard as one would think. Of course, I'm no SJS, but I'm doing my best. I finished Sonic ans I've fixed some of the white spots on the Zeldas. Not sure if I like Sonic's shading, but whatever.

However there are several differances in style. For example, his are more saturated, and have a little more contrast.
EDIT: Updated, the little in game battle portraits are up now.

These arent as good as SJS' CSPs but they look legit, like they are in-game. :)

Again, it could be the difference in style, it could be how much I zoomed out, you never know. It's all personal preferance.

Actually, these are in a Perfect Position, so I'm not sure what you mean they aren't as perfect. (Though, actually, there's perhaps a 1 pixel placement diference on a few of 'em... Like, the first one is a "pixel" higher than the second one. And the second one is a pixel to the left from the third one.)

Yeah but it's hard to get each and every CSP at the exact same size and in the EXACT same place. Some of the differences are caused by resizing in general. There's always margin for error, just keep that in mind.
As for a guide, let's let me get a hang of this first O.o

I know what you mean, I was just saying it's VERY minor the reason why they aren't "perfect" it isn't notable in game, just on a PC swaping between the images.

On young Zelda's CSP it's on the right on her arm
On Majora it's showing at several points, small but still visible (not sure about in game though..)
On Azule, it's a few on her hair and a few on her shoulder

Well I hope to get Sonic up tonight. I don't know, I'm a little iffy on the shaiding for him...I think I did too much, I don't know.
I've also fixed the dotty CSPs. I'll get those up with him.

Eh, it doesn't really matter. It's just that indexing in Photoshop produces a higher quality image than indexing in BrawlBox
Eh I looked at the images when I replaced them. It's no biggie really. It looks relatively similar in the end

That's a funny story. When I was recoloring his fur, his hand got selected and etc etc. Never noticed till last night, but I didn't bother to fix it because I'm fixing up sonic tonight. Metal and Shadow will stay the same though.
K I've fixed up Sonic's shading and colors, so now they match up better with the real CSPs.
I've got Mario's pose picked out, so I'll see what I can do.

Ike's not high on my list right now. I know for a fact he's going to be after ZSS sometime, who's pretty far down on the list right now as well.

I do take requests. However I need to alter Zelda's colors a little bit because they turn up too dark on my TV.

Just keep going, it's hard to get feedback with a small amount of CSP's. Though the ones made so far look good in my opinion. ;)
