Title: Help with vertexing Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 09, 2011, 11:02:54 PM I've forgotten how to export vertexes.
When I export them to the model, and preview them in Brawlbox the vertex is all distorted. There may be a thread about this somewhere... Can somebody tell me how to fix this or give me a link to a thread? Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: zigheart on May 10, 2011, 04:16:05 AM what method r u using?
Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 10, 2011, 01:46:36 PM The no patch method. The one where you morph the unaltered vertex into the edited vertex and also morph it into the vertecies set. And then you export it.
Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: DrPanda on May 10, 2011, 01:50:51 PM That isn't exactly a no patch method :-\
Try patching in anyway and see if it fixes it. Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Roo on May 10, 2011, 01:55:29 PM OR just use Vile's new auto vertex exporter. :3
Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 10, 2011, 02:06:51 PM Is it called Viles vertex box?
Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Roo on May 10, 2011, 02:14:21 PM Yessir it is.
Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 10, 2011, 04:05:25 PM Could you upload it please? EDIT: Nevermind, I tried it again and it worked. He really needs to upload it to mediafire... Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 10, 2011, 05:59:34 PM >:C I got the same problem! I just spent three freaking hours making a vertex, then I exported it as an object, and ran Viles vertex box but when I previewed it, it was all messed up!!

I just spent three freaking hours making a vertex, then I exported it as an object, and ran Viles vertex box but when I previewed it, it was all messed up!! Use Miacis's method. It worked for me, and I had the same problem as you.Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 10, 2011, 06:09:56 PM Hmm I kinda wished Viles method would work... it was really easy, I could vertex everything at once. I hate that stupid stretching thing!
Where can I find Miacis's method? Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Hollow on May 10, 2011, 06:11:38 PM http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=13061.0
Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 10, 2011, 06:16:35 PM =_= That's the method I was originally using... but it reminded me how to double patch so thanks.
But sometimes double patching doesn't fix the stretching.... does anyone know how to fix it?? Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: DrPanda on May 10, 2011, 06:19:15 PM Keep on patching.
Title: Re: Help with vertexing Post by: Roo on May 10, 2011, 06:43:03 PM You can patch through Vile's program as well. Read through his thread up to where I ask that exact question. It shoudl help.
