Title: Help with vertexing
Post by: Tasty Pumpkin Clock on May 09, 2011, 11:02:54 PM
I've forgotten how to export vertexes.
When I export them to the model, and preview them in Brawlbox the vertex is all distorted.

There may be a thread about this somewhere...
Can somebody tell me how to fix this or give me a link to a thread?

The no patch method. The one where you morph the unaltered vertex into the edited vertex and also morph it into the vertecies set. And then you export it.

That isn't exactly a no patch method :-\
Try patching in anyway and see if it fixes it.

OR just use Vile's new auto vertex exporter. :3

It says the link has expired... after waiting for the timer.
Could you upload it please?

EDIT: Nevermind, I tried it again and it worked. He really needs to upload it to mediafire...

>:C I got the same problem! I just spent three freaking hours making a vertex, then I exported it as an object, and ran Viles vertex box but when I previewed it, it was all messed up!!

Use Miacis's method. It worked for me, and I had the same problem as you.

Hmm I kinda wished Viles method would work... it was really easy, I could vertex everything at once. I hate that stupid stretching thing!

Where can I find Miacis's method?

=_= That's the method I was originally using... but it reminded me how to double patch so thanks.
But sometimes double patching doesn't fix the stretching.... does anyone know how to fix it??

Keep on patching.

You can patch through Vile's program as well. Read through his thread up to where I ask that exact question. It shoudl help.
