Title: .rel files: Needed or Not For Custom Slots? Post by: That BattleToad PSA Guy on May 12, 2011, 02:33:12 PM I have some custom stages in custom slots, but when I select them, the game either freezes silently or with a buzz! I used the .rel files of each stage, but this still happens!
So my question is...How do I play on my custom stages? Question A) Are The .Rel Files Needed? Question B) If yes, what do I call them: 01 or just 1 (or do I start with 0 or 00?) Name them in this fashion: st_customXX.rel where XX is hexadecimal number of custom stage. As far as I know, the ID of custom stages is 0, but I may be wrong. Make sure your custom stages are made on ethier those two stages.

Question, though: Are you using Riivolution or the File Patch Code? If you're using Riivolution you have to define the custom stage files (the .rel and stage .pac) in your xml file.
