well, Pit's body is disconnected for someone like Sora in my opinion, his texture mapping isn't that good, like his hair, or  like his hand that shares texture with his feet, how would you make a keyblade out of pit's bow? The keyblade can be done over Marth, it won't be perfect, but at least it'd be something better than what could come out of Pit's bow.
Also, I made Genesis over Marth because Sephy's psa would fit him, plus because of the wing, which Genesis also has.
You can make your own version of them if you don't want these anyways =]

Also Sora's arms should be fine since they're shorter than Marth's.

What's done's done. These are all amazing, and Sora's really matching. Complains about "Why this character is over this" shouldn't be said... Micaiah decides who and where she makes her Hacks, anyways.

I, at least, can't wait for them to be made. They're all epic looking!

If you don't like a hack over a specific character, then simply don't download it.

You crying about it here is not gonna make her or anyone make it over the character that you want.

If it bothers you that much, maybe you should learn how to Vertex and Texture yourself.

I believe Micaiah is actually one of the few female members of the forum.  The ratio of guys to gals here is about 10 or 11 to 1.

But that's off topic, the Sora looks excellent.  It's the one that caught my eye the most.  Mainly because I know nothing about any of the other characters (except Lightning).  Though as I said before, all of them will looks smexy once they're done and I'll download most of them even without knowing them.

Hey Micaiah, did you use Sephiroth as a base for Genesis? Because the feet, hair and coat  looks like they were  taken from him. (just curious)

No, I never use someone else's work as a base, I'd rather make things from the start, thus I'd also see whether I'm able to make it or not, and thus learn new things instead of taking someonne else's work, do few things and then release it, that doesn't satisfies me at all.
Well, save for Light, which I'll be using Pik's Lightning's head and making some tweaks.

Hey Micaiah I had a question.
How exactly do you do you're textures for your vertexs? It looks like texture projection but I'm not entirly sure how that's done and even if you do it that way. I'm just wondering because they always look so exact.

After testing Sora in-game, something weird happened, some polygon(s) kinda explodes and  covers the screen, it happens really fast, so it woulnd't be a big deal(kinda like in this pic, by the way http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x475/Omega-Malkior/jpg-4.jpg?t=1306373895), but when I played against another 3 Marth's, the polygon(s) stayed on the screen during al the match, it didn't cover it all of it in this case though.

I'm pretty sure that the problem is in the motion.pac, since I size-modded his hands because they're shorter than Marth's.
But I've checked it out 2 hours ago, there were some animations where I didn't resize his arms, I obviously fixed them, but the polygons(s) still streches =/
So no Sora for now, not until monday at least, and if in these 2 days I still haven't figured out what the problem is, then you can either expect him giltched, with arms longer than they should be(he honestly doesn't look pretty like that), or he may not be released since I want him to be in a decent state at least. <.<

EDIT: Apparently I can't unlock the poll, it says that some admin locked it....if some Admin or mod sees this, please unlock it, thank you.

This is a shared problem with Marth vertexes.  It isn't just your Sora.  Trust me, every Marth vertex that I've ever used has done this.  When he enters landing lag from his Up B, this always happens.   

*Shrugs* Chibicowalskie should be releasing his Sora over pit this weekend, and EternalYoshi's making a moveset, so I'm good :P

because this has never happened with the Marth's vertexes that I've used.

There has to be something in the code that makes Marth do that...or is it something hard-coded?

hmmm that's kinda odd. That kind of stuff usually occurs with imports occasionally and some characters after getting their polygons deleated which is weird since I don't think that marth has any polygons that glitch up like that when deleated...
It may just be the size mod though I'm not entirly sure. Have you tried him without it?
Hopefully the problem gets fixed it'd be a shame if it couldn't be fixed.

Well, fortunately tomorrow I don't have school, so I'll try everything to get that giltch out of the way, but if nothing will work, I promise that I'll release him tomorrow, no matter what.
Thus you guys, if you want, may try to see what could be the cause of that giltch and fix it, if I won't be able to.
Also, I should also make an alternate outfit of him with his KH1 costume as well.

Kingdom hearts 1 Sora would be pretty cool actually.
I always loved that design a little bit more then the KH2 costume...
Might be because my copy of KH2 broke but oh well.

Micaiah won't make Zack on Ike since Beyond said he will, stop asking for it. -_-;

He's taking A TON of time on Vegeta, he's making another DBZ vertex after, then, he's making a Capcom vertex and then going to "No more heroes" revamp. He has taken like a month (I think I exaggerated) on Vegeta because he has gotten errors while making it. He normally takes  a week or two to make a hack and he has like 4 or maybe 5 more vertexes. I think Micaiah should make a rushed version (by rushed I mean not perfect. Simple changes like a change of cloths, change of color and spikes in hair and a bit different head.

Have you ever realized that, ohhh, I don't know, it's BY/Michaiah's choice and NOT yours? Honestly, every post of yours I see here and on BY's topic is complaints from you and begging for it.
I LOVE Zack. And yes, It would be cool to see him over Ike. But have you ever considered that the reason they haven't done it yet is because a) You won't stop asking b) there's already a perfectly good vertex over Marth and c) These are THEIR hacks and not yours?

Okay I'll come out with it Malkior, you're getting really annoying. The great vertex hackers here have put countless hours into hacks that both please the viewers, users, and admirers while at the same time keep them interested in what they're doing, it's not just because someone wants it.
Mica's vertex of Zack on Marth is pretty amazing though there are a tiny few flaws, if you want Zack so badly, vertex him yourself or wait the time until it comes to them to think "I feel like making Zack now."
The reason Beyond took so long on Vegeta is not only because of the normals, it's because he's dedicated to making it as flawless as possible, he has a life, and he has a reputation he'd like to uphold and not disappoint his fans.
Also, when you told me I was being off-topic, I was being on topic. So stop annoying these people who deserve better comments and at least attempt to do what they do to see how it is for them. Cause even though they make it look as easy as lifting a feather, there are many problems they can encounter on the way.

Mica, take your time until you find a way to fix Sora. Your skills are beyond most of the forum and it's not bad if we have to wait longer for him because of the polygon bug, it's something that has to be fixed if you thin it has to be fixed :)

:( I've waited a whole year for a good Sora to be made. I don't want to wait another one. Plus there's only one way to fix it and keep it one slot, Remove the size mod. Other than that it will take a moveset with a brand new "Up-B".

Give this man a medal.  Seriously.  It's good to know that there are plenty of people that actually understand that we mod because we enjoy it.  We make stuff not as an obligation to people, but because we want to.  We will only release stuff if we feel it's in a state to be released.  The creators should never, EVER have to be forced (or even TOLD/ASKED) to release something incomplete, especially if the creator themselves is not satisfied with it.

Be patient dude.  Did it not occur to you for one second that maybe, just maybe, she may be in a different time zone to you?  Or that she may have unexpected things going on?  Her today could easily be your tomorrow.

And you don't need a hack.  Nobody needs anyone's hacks.  The only time someone would ever need a hack is if they were say doing a machinima that they had to do to earn some money for something.  And even that is an extremely selective and extreme case that would almost never happen.

And don't worry Ultima, Sora will be released as soon as I fix a hole I found on his hair, but  3ds max keeps closing itself and givng me errors for some reason.

ok, I don't know why but there's some white on his hair when I tested him in-game again, which is also odd since Marth's hair texture should support transparency and I haven't even touched the format of the texture, which would be the only way to make what happened to happen.
I should stop to promise things from now on <.<
Anyway, I'll try to figure this out tomorrow, because I'm really tired right now. 
Also if I won't find a way to fix it, I'll seriously release him this time.

Anyway this is vertex is so damn amazing that it definitely deserves it's own PSA. If we could get one as high quality as Sdoom's amazing Cloud, then we will have ourselves the start of a Kingdom Hearts Brothers Brawl.

I really love the quality of the texture too :)

Oh, and in case you did not know already, there are small occurrences where a characters polygons stretch when facing Sora.

I do not know if it is Sora or the other character's polygons that flash on the screen, but I'll just assume it is Sora, depending on if a certain polygon was moved far away from him or not since I had not had this issue before.

It is not a big deal, since it doesn't affect gameplay or the actual model during the fight. It just blips at some random times when Sora's shield goes up right when another character gets close to him.

This work is so high in quality that I feel grimy for pointing out even the most petty of flaws :(, so it is best to ignore this insignificant "glitch" and enjoy Sora to the fullest  :af2:

Maybe you could do more forms of Sora later (Valor, Wisdom, Master, Final, Tron, Halloween)

Other than Tron and Halloween those should be really easy to do. I may do them at some point if I start to care enough, but I wouldn't be able to release them without Micaiah's permission of course.

I was planning on doing those at some point, but if someone else wants to, they're more than welcome to make them.
Also, most of my hacks are free to edit, I don't really mind, all I'd ask is some credit, so you don't need to ask for permission x)

Moogle's looking adorable :)  I liked ShadowSnake's and I like this one too.  So far the only flaw I see are the joints on the lower parts of the legs.  They sort of fold a bit.  But honestly, this is extreme nitpicking.

Zelos is quite the character in the first game, second he wasn't all that good in my opinion.
Kratos was my favorite in ToS, sad he only appeared as a hologram in ToS2 T_T

The main character wasn't fighting himself, and he can't be more emo, you only get 3 new characters (Of which 1 is temporal), and the old cast is limited, too limited in power, so it's a nice nostalgic moment, and yet, lame. Lloyd was awesome as the main character in one... This one was fan-service. >_< And here I was expecting it to be the first awesome RPG released for the Wii... Just tapping the control pad Up was needed to finish that game... Lame.

Altough, I've got to admit, the battle system was really optimized, it eliminated the flaws the first one had, like not being able to walk around the field, like the CPUs... Among other awesome stuff this new one have. <3

I can't agree more, plus, the first one? Was supposed to be a prequel to Tales of Phantasia, but ToS2 messed this up... BADLY, ToS1 already had it's odd moments as a tie in to that game, but 2 really messed it up...

And Zelos, was oddly the only one in character in ToS2, he even still trusted Lloyd. CoughZeloshasthehotsforLloydcough. And I'm still sad about Zelos being scrapped. T_T

this is done to have sora's face ALWAYS, instead of morphing back to marth's face, we vertexers are sometimes too lazy to vertex all the facial expressions ^^
