It's never bad to have 2 versions of something. A ton of stuff has like 4 people's takes on it.

I saw the Mew you just released and your comments, and you should really take you're time for stuff. Don't just release it because you are tired of it; wait until you are totally satisfied. Maybe take a break from it for a little while then go back to it later. It can only get better.

I can't even count how many breaks I had to take in order to finish my Moka vertex and my still unreleased and unfinished Bowletta... That mouth's going to be hard to work with.

Plus multiple versions of a vertex isn't usually a bad thing. (unless it's Shadow the Hedgehog...lol) Just because 1 person makes something you were going to make doesn't mean you can't try to make it too. ;)
