Title: texturing on model??? Post by: BlueBrain on June 14, 2011, 09:51:07 AM does anybody know if it is possible to texture straight on the body (through photoshop, 3ds max or any other program) ???
cuz it would be awesome... Title: Re: texturing on model??? Post by: TruePhilosopher on June 14, 2011, 10:56:09 AM What do you mean exactly? For the most part you are always texturing the model, unless you're texturing an article.
Title: Re: texturing on model??? Post by: DrPanda on June 14, 2011, 11:00:57 AM I guess he means as if painting a sculpture.
Though it would be very useful, I don't think there is anything that does that :( Title: Re: texturing on model??? Post by: TruePhilosopher on June 14, 2011, 11:02:35 AM Considering the clothing and what-not is actually part of the characters vertices then I'd say no. You'd have to vertex the character down to a base model to do this.

(sounds easier than what it is i guess...) Title: Re: texturing on model??? Post by: DSX8 on June 14, 2011, 02:27:17 PM i actually like that idea O.o
