It's an all new SSBB pack. This is Super Smash Bros Brawl Legacy, where the characters from the past Brawl and some new ones come together for the real ultimate test!

I am almost done with this massive year long project, and I'm working for a Virtually Freeze-Free Mod of characters, menus, stages, music, and maybe sounds too.

All of the characters will have new movesets, and textures, but the sfx will not be edited, unfortunately.

There will be a brand New Stage Select System that Randomizes stages and also allows for Secret, Special, and Bonus Stages to be placed based on button input.

I'm so close to finishing this project, and I can assure that this will be a very large project that will require a 2G SD card and Gecko OS operatibility. RiiVolution should work also, though I'm unsure, because this incorporates ASL.

So far in my Vault, I have released several Legacy characters that will be in SSBBL, and the roster so far is a little flexible. I'm needing a replacement for Wolf - An effective, non-freezeing replacement.

Surprisingly enough, I discovered that there's still plenty of work needed to be done, so the completion date is shaky.

Some of the new features?

-Most moves will have very little/no hitlag, meaning DI will be very difficult, and acion will be faster paced. Only super strong moves like Ganon's Unlimited Warlock Punch and Zelda's Super Echo Blade will have hitlag, even having some of those strong moves have 3x the hitlag, to emphasize the Pain factor.
-Some stages will have random switching between Day/Night, Weather, Location, in-game Time of Day Switching, Stage Switching based on Real-Time, and the ability to chose Special, Secret, and Bonus stages that will all be indicated by special Icons in the SSS
-It's not overpowered, but not really balanced - It's JUST a small bit stronger than normal brawl, but the action is more fast-paced and more friendly with offense, but if someone were to take a Legacy PSA and put it against a normal default PSA, there wouldn't be really any advantage to either side, apart from general factors like Strength, Speed, Agility, Weight, etc. If I had to estimate, this would be about 2% stronger than normal brawl.

Every character will have a new moveset, and every stage will be different(except Lylat Cruise, because it does sorta fit.)

I just need help changing some characters SFX, and the announcer still calls old peoples names like Peach and Olimar

Interesting, though i probably won't try it unless there's an ISO made of it.
I don't use my SD card for brawl hacks since i use the USB Loader

I just need help changing some characters SFX, and the announcer still calls old peoples names
There's Rina-chan who does a female announcer call for every character so far, you could ask her to do a few for you.

Also are you going to be doing anything with the thp videos in subspace? If this is going to be a whole new thing I thought it would make sense if the subspace videos were changed to fit the new and old.

I don't like yoshi's play-style, i'd prefer a perfect working Ridley then Yoshi.
Same like i'd replace Olimar with Cloud and R.O.B. with Ichigo. 3 characters i don't hate but who's play-style isn't really all that good (except R.O.B. who plays well)

The Site ranks people based on how many posts someone has put up, but I assure you that,"Newbie Kitten" is an inaccurate title

will this project have codes in it? becuase if it has it wont be Pal friendly :S

If he would make an ISO based on fanbase then it wouldn't be brawl anymore. It would be Final Fantasy Melee. >_>

I rather have Lloyd over wolf, Rosalina over Peach, Shadow over Sonic and Silver over Kirby. That way i can kick out a few characters and replace them with characters i like.

Ganondorf stays just because i main him and he's badass xD

I've been trying to get in Rosalina, Shadow, and Mewtwo

-If Mewtwo comes in, I need both Mewtwo and Lucario in - people only port him over Lucario for some reason
-I need to port characters over DDD and Wolf because they've been acting glitchy, and i wanna get rid of Diddy Kong because he's been nothing but an annoying monkey
-Tails and Silver are maybes
-I have Daisy over Peach - Peach has no business being in a fighting game
-I've been looking at Lloyd, but it's not completely finished yet
-Ganonorf, Link, Yoshi, Mario, Zelda, Sonic, and meta Knight are absolutely not getting bumped out of this roster!
-Snake may be out, cause Nintendo sold him to Sony, and maybe Falco or Jigglypuff.

Luigi has that two, along with Wario and Kirby

I've included a complex stage system, as there are about 80 playable stages and counting, all recolers as well as models and imports. In the SSS will be certain icons in the preview part, telling the stage's functions
-Weather: Stage will randomly change weather when selected
-Time of Day: Stage will randomly change to Day, Evening, Night, etc when selected
-Match time Change: Stage will go through Day and Night during the match, like Battlefield
-Real-time Change: Stage will change location based on real time
-Map: Stage will randomly choose a location in the are to play on,usually a location not seen in a different location
-Calender: Stage will appear different based on four seasons
-Special Stage[Red EXclamation]: When a certain button combination is held, it will switch to a completely different stage, relating to the original stage.
-Bonus Stage[Yellow Exclamation]: When a certain button combination is held, it will switch to a completely different stage, which may or may not have something to do with the original stage.
-Secret Stage[Purple Exclamation]: When a certain button combination is held, it will switch to a stage hidden within the stage.

For example, If I select Rainbow Road, and it has a Map and a Red exclamation, it may randomly switch locations on the track per match, one match being down where the loops are, another being up in the tunnel where the finish line is. Optionally, I can hold the button combination and go to maybe, Blue Moon Battleship.

Or, if I go to Bowser's Palace whch has a Map, I may randomly appear in either the throne room, reactor room, castle top, tower, dungeon room, or his Airship.

Maybe I'll want to go to Coconut Mall which has a map icon to indicate that is will switch between the parking lot and garden, and a Time of Day icon to indicate that the time of day will be random as well, meaning I could be in the garden at night or in the parking lot at sunset.

All these icons indicate a randomization or a prompt to input a small button combination, usually holding A and a D-pad button. The actual icons won't do anything, just indicate that the stage has special functions.

if silver+tails why not Shadow too but that also means get rid of Sonic or Dk
i dont care about DK. he is not a real Mario Char.
maybe he was in the First mario game but later he only came in Mario Kart/Sport/party games not the real platform games(if not mario vs. Donkey to GBA) so i call him more a guest Char. for mario games
i dont hate DK. but i also dont love him :D more i dont care he is replace or is there

DK and Yoshi have their own series, but respect the fact that your princess invites them all for sporting events and parties.

I am more than happy to get rid of Pit, Diddy, DDD, Wolf, and Jigs to put in whoever I see fit. Suggestions?

Yoshi is more a Mario Char. he got alot of games with Mario bros. where he help save peach :D

Super Mario world.
Super Mario RPG
Yoshi´s Island(helped Baby Mario so still a mario game :D)
Super Mario 64(Yoshi is on the roof of Peach´s Castle)
Super Mario sunshine
SMG2
new Super Mario bros. Wii

he is in more Mario Games then Dk. is

the only game Mario is not in but only Yoshi is : Yoshi Story

Way ahead of you - Cloud's over Olimar

In terms of Yoshi, he's always had his own line of games against his rival Bowser. He stays in, R.O.B. might be out if I can get someone else with a water PSA in

Pit I was hoping to replace with Sora, or Sepiroth, but I guess if someone can do Isaac, maybe...

Lloyd's not even finished yet, neither is Vegeta, but they weren't getting in anyways lol.

I also wanted to have a stage where like Peach is watching on the sidelines, just to emphasize that she's not in the roster.

I made a working port over Yoshi for Ichigo (the vertex not the import, so technically Marth) without codes. all his jabs worked and didn't glitch aside the matches VS another Marth.. Since it'll use the same GFX set.. >_>"

Yeah that's the problem - people forget that SSBB is a nintendo thing, I mean, importing a few non-nintendo characters is alright, but I'm not trying to make half the roster non-nintendo!

Luigi is almost a Clone of Mario´s moveset with his "A" attacks/throws(not "B")
same will Kid goku (GT) be same "A"/throws/N-B (ofc N-b) attacks as Adult goku

May as well dump some known issues I need to fix

Game Freezes because:
-Yoshi can't grab people with negative damage
-Smashville randomly freezes
-DDD and Wolf are glitchy, and I'm trying to remove them
 That's about it

Also, I can't replace .thp files, and Info.pac doesnt's work, even a clean one, so they'll be issues with the announcer calls and text, unless I can mute the announcer.

but for Adult Goku i am abit planing on port the vertex/Animations over a other since i really needing more Filesize for make a Adult goku moveset really good with the GFXs
so maybe over Pit :D

diddy kong i can´t since he got non GFX to replace inside Fitdiddy.pac
i can easy make a bad looking spirit bomb with just GFX ID: 30 but not a kamehameha

and someone please port the vertexs of Goku(also SSJ1,2,3,4 vertexs) to work with Pit and get the Fitpit.pac ready for these models then i can easyer make the rest

Daisy+Yoshi always works. I'd rather die than have to deal with that blonde weakling, even if that is a little extreme.

Naruto, maybe. I don't mind bringing in other people it's just I can't bring in too many people.

Tails aint finished yet

Vegeta is FAR from being finished

Saskue works, but is it the original one or the shippuden one, because I never did like shippuden

Vegeta is he is so far Done  but he will be

Goku he is almost done with many Animations only revamps/throws/up-tilt/Mario´s Catch Animations over Cp. falcon model and Entry needed
and ofc the port for vertex then PSA anything  :af2:
too bad i can´t do the Vertex Port over Pit and i am not sure how to remove Both Multi Jump to 2x jump and remove Glide

i'd say keep the throw the same to speed up the process, except have one of them spin around like Mario and throw the enemy up.

Entry, just modify the Falcon entry except Goku flies in rather than driving and invisible boatmobile :af:

he more hold the enemy like Mario with Both hands
Spin around like Mario´s ThrowB will be on Goku´s ThrowB too :D

the only Gliding i think is good is something like Peach´s but abit shorter time since the moveset is abit overpowered

(Peach is not Weak in Super Mario RPG :D she is the best Healer ever)

I'm trying to make it so that Daisy cant' do that floating thing, and walljump instead

that means i need to revamp and Fix my Shadow over marth?
i can maybe Revamp it to work with Sd00m´s V2 moveset but not Fix the random Freezes
and you have to use one of mine Shadow-Kong friend Sonic PSas for Chaos spear GFx is there all time(or Shadow port Friendly Sonic PSas i can call it)

but it looks like some of my moveset is in this Project :D

Goku over Pit/Vegeta (wolf) and if i can do it a better Fire based Mario PSA :D

just look in my Vault but random Freezes and it only a port of Sdo0m´s V1 moveset
Chaos Spear is not working right (not only GFX if Sonic vs. Shadow but also Hitboxes)
but i think rest is working(i think) but i dont think i can fix random Freezes

Maybe it freezes because the spear isn't working right, and the glitches in the spear commands may interfere with other commands and cause the random freezes.



(Bottomline, Peach can't fight, Daisy winds up being just as strong as Luigi, if not stronger in most games, while Peach ends up being one of the weaker people. And Daisy's also got quick feet in most of the games too, except Super Sluggers for some reason, but I still steal bases easily with her lol.)

Goku is for sure next i will not update the FitCaptain.pac anymore since Goku Final version is over Pit (i hopefully Pit is Friendly for a SFX pack for Goku)
and if pit got much Filesize i think i can get Goku to SSJ mode i just needing a Goku Head of SSj/SSj3 :D(not rest of his body and low filesize then i can use it as GFX on goku´s Head)

But I think I should try putting in another fanon character, 'cause Marissa and Wisp turned out to be great, and I already got a model thanks to LookItsLink that I can edit.

But i'm really focused on getting rid of DDD and Wolf. Getting rid of them would get rid of a ton of freeze problems.

I also still have to worry abot Daisy, because I need to get rid of her floating thing from Peach, then make her walljump, and get her to use her Down-B in the air. If anyone's got anything to say, don't hesitate to post! I'm open to any and all suggestion!  :kdance:

My laptop is down for the count, and has the latest build on it until i get a new plug which should be here in a about a week im going to be updating again. With the only freezing glitch being the custom stage pack freezing glitch. So yeah....

Anyway good luck with Legacy, working by yourself is a lot tougher then you'd think, and constant code search unless your can make your own is like running into a brick wall all the coders are working on project:m and they're not giving an inch.

I've pretty much got everything down already. I've got about 80 stages and counting with a code much different from the Stage Expansion Pack, and the only thing I have to do is port some new characters in. That's about it really, then I'm done!

I've been doing this for about a year trying to balance it with school, family and friends, and I'm going to be so glad when this is complete.  :kdance:

And everybody who's posted here will get collaboration credit, whether you want it or not!

Well from what you say, yours is more complete then i mine, I still have some work to to to characters specials and among other things.

Like one of the few thing i need to do is play around with the universal gravity so all the characters are slightly more heavier then what they are currently to speed up Overdrive a bit more. And i fixed the hit stun a bit more so it isn't so horribly laggy anymore.

But i can't wait to see what you've done so i hope you finish soon.

Go look at the statue on the Daisy course in mkwii. Daisy and Luigi together.

One thing I noticed is that your Daisy psa can be ported over Marth almost perfectly. Just fix the Side b. That way Rosalina(or Peach, I know you hate her) can go on Peach and Daisy can be on Marth.

i just noticed there is a cloud hack over DDD that must mean there is already a rel file of ike over DDD made so any psa you like in IKE you could just use it over DDD just use the same rel from that download

can you also make the Info.pac for the in-screen battle names, because everytime I try to do it, it freezes even when I use a clean, unchanged copy.

yes its an ike rel any ike psa works over any other character that uses so just take of the DDD rele rename all naruto files to DDD and should work fine

Just as a reminder:

I've included a complex stage system, as there are about 80 playable stages and counting, all recolers as well as models and imports. In the SSS will be certain icons in the preview part, telling the stage's functions
-Weather: Stage will randomly change weather when selected
-Time of Day: Stage will randomly change to Day, Evening, Night, etc when selected
-Match time Change: Stage will go through Day and Night during the match, like Battlefield
-Real-time Change: Stage will change location based on real time
-Map: Stage will randomly choose a location in the are to play on,usually a location not seen in a different location
-Calender: Stage will appear different based on four seasons
-Special Stage[Red EXclamation]: When a certain button combination is held, it will switch to a completely different stage, relating to the original stage.
-Bonus Stage[Yellow Exclamation]: When a certain button combination is held, it will switch to a completely different stage, which may or may not have something to do with the original stage.
-Secret Stage[Purple Exclamation]: When a certain button combination is held, it will switch to a stage hidden within the stage.

For example, If I select Rainbow Road, and it has a Map and a Red exclamation, it may randomly switch locations on the track per match, one match being down where the loops are, another being up in the tunnel where the finish line is. Optionally, I can hold the button combination and go to maybe, Blue Moon Battleship.

Or, if I go to Bowser's Palace whch has a Map, I may randomly appear in either the throne room, reactor room, castle top, tower, dungeon room, or his Airship.

Maybe I'll want to go to Coconut Mall which has a map icon to indicate that is will switch between the parking lot and garden, and a Time of Day icon to indicate that the time of day will be random as well, meaning I could be in the garden at night or in the parking lot at sunset.

All these icons indicate a randomization or a prompt to input a small button combination, usually holding A and a D-pad button. The actual icons won't do anything, just indicate that the stage has special functions.

Tomorrow I'll be testing out a bunch of imports I'ver collected together over yesterday and today, then get back my results on Monday. But I need something over WOLF!! I personally don't wanna get rid of Wolf but he randomly freezes so i'll have to!

I don't know where to find any for Diddy. Actually, don't know where to find much of anyone else's for that matter. I may also need IC-Constant codes and Sound Bank codes like I had to do for Cloud and Wisp.

I assure you and everyone, that all th characters in this are balanced, just with enhanced attack capabilities, but that's just to make the game more tense and make players feel more alert and ready.

SO FAR:

Stage Pack is now 98% complete. There are now over 100 stage re-textures and re-models/imports. I want to get just a few more for Special/Bonus/Secret Stage slots for Battlefield and Daisy Stadium. Bowser's Palace uses a lot of Castlevania rooms, and Lylat Cruise I've decided to keep unchanged from the original. For Daisy Stadium, I'm thinking a Special stage something like either fighting on a plane high off the ground in an arena on the top of the plane, like in Yu-Gi-Oh during Battle City, or make it a little more authentic and have a large ocean/city bay where people fight in an arena on the deck of a cruiser. Then a Daisy Stadium Bonus stage of somewhere off in the wastelands with a lot of mountains(maybe like from SSE), with the City and Stadium seen in the distance. Battlefield, I think Mewtwo2000 might be working on a Melee Battlefield that I can use as a Secret Stage, but i'm unsure - he is pretty busy right now. Also, there may be a surprise melee comeback of yet another stage from SSBM. PLUS, I also wanted to make a special stage entitled," The Lab of Wisp's Origin" where Wisp was created as a super being of artificial intelligence and selective intangibility by a mad scientist.

COME ON PEOPLE, WE NEED SOME ANTAGONISTS HERE. We've been suffering from the lack of evil in Smasj Bros for way too long, and porting Mewtwo over Jigs is the first step! Maybe someone could port the Majora's Rebirth model of Zelda over one of the above like Wolf?

Since in SSBBL, Zelda uses her Sheik battle skills in both her Hylian and Sheikah form, I'm opting that If I can keep Zelda from transforming into Sheik, and Vice-versa, then maybe I can cut sheik out, especially since she hasn't appeared in much besides OoT. Even if I do end up keeping Sheik, I still want to know how to keep them from transforming into each other, because with their Triforce movesets, only one of their Triforce's can be activated at a time, and it's decided by who the match is started with, so if I was to start as Sheik, then Sheik would have activated her Triforce, and Zelda would be in normal state.

I also need a legitimate moveset for Zero Suit Samus, preferably one of Ice or water, or just a bunch of fancy moves. I also need a legitimate moveset for Ivysaur, because I think there's some sort of very small file limit with these two that i've been unable to do anything about. It seems changing one thing, regardless of what it is or what PSA version i'm using, will cause immediate crashing after selection. So I leave these two to someone with better compression.

Pichu Bros still need some more tests, so they're a Final Decision, but I can't say they're locked in yet. I'm doubting Zack Fair because his model has a lot of holes and gaps in it, and since I can't vertex, that just makes the situation better now doesn't it?

I'm thinking to get another person from Sony and someone from Microsoft, you know, as guests. I think SSBBL should have a little diversity. I"M NOT BRINGING IN SACKBOY. I'll bring in someone who's been a core for the two of those companies, like Lara or Master Chief. I also really want Talim from Soul Calibur could get into Brawl, and maybe Hellfire. If possible, Megaman too, even though I know nothing about him, but I know how many people were greatly infuriated with him not being in SSBB, so I may as well put him in SSBBL. Anyone thinking Duke Nukem? what about that soldier from DOOM?

As for the Legacy challenge, there's two ways I can do this:
1- THE SAFE, EASY, AND SATISFYING WAY
   I can have a row of custom stages with pictures of who you're supposed to fight starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top, with included instructions.

2- THE HARD, LONG, DANGEROUS, AND HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL YET MORE SATISFYING AND PRESENTATIONAL WAY.
   Hack into the Event mode and change what stages, characters, songs, amount of levels, and order of how the characters fight. I also can't just have character's appear out of nowhere like you would if you added more CPU's in training, or else it would freeze. All-Star and Classic don't support a lot of textures anyway.

3- CUT IT OUT, JUST BRAWL!
   Forget the challenge and just focus on roster and stages

I gotta say that #1 was kinda ghetto, but I liked it better than SSE!

.thp files will be left alone, except for the Opening Movie, where I hope someone who can do Machinima will provide a new intro.

Sound FX should not be worried about until the Roster is in it's Final state.

This all has to be done before August 29, 2011.

PS: when I had Full Power Ganondorf, I got over 110,000 ft. in homerun contest!

But as was said earlier, don't worry about SFX until the Roster is completely final and locked in.

Okay, no way Fox is going out, but what kind of Freezing does that Shadow over Marth have? I tested out the standard one over Sonic an liked the way he played, so i'm hoping Shadow can get in. But also Rosalina and Mewtwo just as much.

If you're making your own PSA fo it, you should make it to go with Micaiah's Sora over Marth, it's easily the best looking Sora vertex and Marth is way more boring than Pit.

Yeah I need to fix the Shy Guy driving animation because when I moved the stage I had to fix the Shy Guy animation and I only managed to f*ck it up - Shy Guy just spins around across the stage so it looks like he's drunk, and I haven't changed it back yet because all my friends won't stop laughing at it.

i dont think that is fixable every resized hack  gets bigger when they are grabed  because every character has their own grab animations you had to substitute grab animations of the entire Rooster  also that happens to anyone  if thats the only glitch you are doing good xD

ps the pichus always had the advantage of being small xD  thats what i like about them  of cource if you are facing a small character you lose all the advantage like kirby and jigly will hit you on the face xD

Yeah, that's what I thought i'd have to do, but I guess I can't do that. That's The ONLY glitch with the Pichu Bros, thank god for that! I also found that Pichu's share textures, so putting in minun AND pulse won't work, it would have to be one pair of minuns, and one pair of pulses.

the textures arent in the files? it would be fun having a plusle and minum at the same time but right know its preety fun too xD also i just tested the pichu brothers psa for awhile and i have to say something here are my thoughts

Glitches
when the run midle velocity they sink into the ground while running at max speed or slow they dont so i think this will be easy to fix
they grab items with their heads altough you dont notice this ingame due to they being so small xD
they have a wierd way of grabinb heavy items maybe due to the problem abode
also during the down B the second pichu the one we dont control still uses ice climbers attack  maybe forgot to change nana's action during the down B but i think it looks cool maybe some kind of hiden power ice xD
N air i think it needs animation

Sugestions
i noticed you gave them four jumps instead of adding an up B but i think the up B is kinda uselless since it doesnt do knockback the enemy just pierces with a down air in the face :S and when they get hit after doing 2 jumps is hard to get back to the stage due to side B moving  only a bit but with four jumps they can be good air combo characters xD
Why not doing FS volt tackle  Anime style you bright yellow run to the direction you are faced if you hit someone  big damage and knockback but pichu brothers take like 20% it would be epic xD

Final thoughs
i think the moveset is balanced(wich is important to me)  and pretty fun to play xD they will be my main characters from now on xD

The Up-B is just to do damage to people who like to jump around a lot like a bunch of damn rabbits.

The FS you're thinking about is like Link and Toon Link - you copy the smash except make it look crappy. The FS he's got now it sorta like a Tabuu thing - one hit, you're gone. BUT, it can be shielded! PLUS, it gives the Bros. a lot of damage in the process!

I'm going to fix the walking in the ground XD.

LCCoolJ95 suggested Freeze Shock from Pokemon Black and White, so I thought to keep the freezing thing in.  :kdance:

N air is really just a quick shift in the air, so animation would make it just look flashier. Maybe I'll see to that and change it.

Everybody in here will be on-level. The only exception may be Ganon, because he's kinda fast and strong, but at the same time he's got a lot of lag. I beat Ganon Lv 9 using Daisy, so I'm pretty sure that it won't be a problem for anyone else!

I noticed that the Pichu Bros shared Textures, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to change it or leave it alone. I prefer the rabbits one anyways - They remind me of raving rabbits for some reason lol, but there you go - DL to a Pulse-Minun combo for those of you who wanted them at the same time! Thank arnage for that!

So anybody thinking about Poke Floats 2? i got it the first hour it came out, and didn't play it until today, and it's just incredible!

Yeah, If you're wondering why Daisy's got a bunch of crystal attacks, play Mario Strikers Charged!. I actually forgot to add a wind effect to Daisy's Balet to push people away, but I'll put it in the update with the sounds.

I the only thing I don't like about the Pichu Bros right now is that throwing glitch, so I'll hold off on them, but since these characters are cemented in now, I'll need sounds and announcer calls

Also, DDD works now!! So he's gonna stay in! Now I just need to make a PSA for him, and perhaps maybe the first legitimate PSA for him too in the vault!.

But what PSA version does DDD need? I heard you had to edit the Pokemon with v.1.3, but I edited Charizard with 2.0 and he worked out fine, so idk about DDD.

King K. Rool, maybe If I can get DDD to be ported over Wolf or Diddy, then K. Rool could quite possibly be in - I'd just have to make a PSA for him, but I think they'd be pretty similar.

Basically, MOST everything, not all, gets scaled down using BrawlBox, but somethings like the Thrown[B,Hi,F,Lw] should be left alone.

Then again I just thought of a pretty nasty trick to do with my witch, heheheheh...

With Pichu Bros in, there's 7 playable pokemon, which is completely absurd, and Midna was only in Twilight Princess. I'm looking for people that were constants for series, not just one game and then gone.

So any suggestions would be cool, and I can include any of your PSAs too, but it has to meet this criteria

1. Has to go over a SHADED character
2. MUST BE BALANCED (unless it's a villian, in which case I'll take one that's SLIGHTLY stronger than usual)
3. MUST HAVE DIAGONAL ATTACKS, BOTH STRONG AND SMASH

If 3 isn't met, then there's absolutely no way that that character is getting into SSBBL.

Also, I'll admit ONLY 1 anime character at the most, but it must also meet the above criteria.

if you are cutting pichu bros will the next version still come out? becuase i want the csp names bp and etc too xD also why dont you fix the mewtwo over jigly port  just needs a fake projectyle on NB a fixed UP B and maybe you can make a good looking FS since the one there is is kinda meh  and if you want to replace ike i recommend naruto is a well made psa and balanced

I was hoping to replace Pit with Goku - I'm only putting in ONE anime character, but if the Goku doesn't qualify, then well Naruto is an option.

There's TOO MANY POKEMON!!

I might try to fix up Mewtwo, but that'll be a separate hack

The Pichu Bros are pretty much done - whenever LCCoolJ95 decides to do the pics and stuff then he'll update V3. Then again I don't know why I didn't add my pics to the download in the first place - As soon as I have a complete character hack over someone I always update my CSP's and stuff

goku over pit is still gonna take a while since mariodk made 0.9 version and he says  that the port will only happen when the psa and animations are final version also if you want to replace jiglypuff she doesnt have that many hack  only some ports like shadow and tails :S i will be waiting for that mewtwo fix xD whatever time it takes since its been ages to me wanting to keep both lucario and mewtwo and i dont care about jigly at all xD and if you can talk to however can update pichu bros and include name  csp css and bp and battle name if you have them xD

But really, it just seems not smart to have so many pokemon in this - as if they didn't have enough hype already, but I gotta emphasize it? Man...

I have an idea for a brand new character, but I think that it will be the only new custom character in this.

Sadly no, sfx only work with Riivolution. But it would still work fine with the rest of SSBL. The directories are the same.

To tell you the truth SuperZelda, this is very promising.  :af: The CSS, SSS, and putting, at least, 150 stages in this game. I've never heard of a pack like that.  :af2: But, I have one thing that I find a little difficult to understand. Now, getting rid of the  :pichu: Bros., why? You said that this is a serious game and it needs a little humor. Now why would you waste time getting rid of them and putting in another character?  *facepalm* It's too time-consuming. But, if you must, may I make a suggestion? Out of pure boredom, and just getting over a bad break-up with my girlfriend  :'(, I decided to make something funny to boost my spirits. I made the Baby  :mario: Bros. over  :popo:! It may sound strange and seems funny, but that's the point if you make a serious game. Always have a little comedy here and there. Like this:

*drinks Strawberry Melon Brisk* It's probably because people think there's a team working on them. Well, they're wrong. I just ported them. It's basically a free for all for the hacks, anyone could edit them in any shape or form, especially Mewtwo over Jiggz. I put MarioDK's Shadow over DK, so no replacing Mewtwo with DK.

I'm getting rid of Pichu Bros cause there's too many pokemon here. I like them, but unless I can get some sort of character expansion like the stage expansion, they gotta come out - I'm trying to expand the game histories a little, instead of just putting more Mushroom Kingdom, Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon characters in. Midna and Pichu Bros were just to fill the spots of sucky characters

Oh, and stages just went up to 170+.

PLUS, I'm working on two secret sub-projects  ;D

*Leaves then comes back* You know, now that I think of it, I'll keep Pichu Bros in, but that means that jigglypuff would need to be replaced with a non-pokemon character.

Well you just can't use the green slot jigglypuff, I don't know, same thing with my modified Wisp. And also she grabs items... with her legs. But other than that, it's PERFECT!!!

How I did it, I just replaced Jigs' model because it had less bones than Rosalina, then I hoped that everything wouldn't freeze while I went and did the whole moveset, renaming all the bones and making attacks, then tested the whole thing out all at once, and it all worked perfectly without freezeing, to my surprise - except for the already stated green slot, then I tweaked a couple damage and knockkback values, and VOILA!!!

for water based psas you already have squirtle right? also for diddy unless you port something over him you got like one psa wich is clare and i dont know who she is  then he has two none diddy kong vertexes wich are dixie and electabuzz so you have to choose either port something over him or let him be :S same with wolf and  pit is so so in vertexes but not that many psas  i guess you have to make  something from scratch like rosalina over diddy or wolf

on a side not
I might try to fix up Mewtwo, but that'll be a separate hack

now that you worked with jigly while doing rosalina wouldnt it be a fast thing fixing the 3 mewtwos glitches but i guess you already have much work has it is

I didn't like Claire, or Sora for that matter, and Dante and Lloyd are unfinished, and if I do port a model, I'd have to start a PSA from scratch using the base character's .pac. What was Electabuzz's base? Because It look's like it may have been vertexed from Lucario and then ported. If that's the case, I can port Mewtwo's model to replace Electabuzz and then redo the whole Mewtwo PSA over, using the already created MotionEtc.

And since I have a very large Charizard file, for Pokemon Trainer, I can only use a patched PSA with the character I start out with, while the other two are at their default, but Squritle freezes when I try to start out a match as him for some reason, while If I switch to him during mid match, he's fine.

I wanna know if someone was able to successfully port a Zelda model over Toon Link, because maybe I could do the same. And I guess R.O.B. will have to come out, do to his unpopularity.

i think electabuzz is vertexed from didyy itself but then again if you ask LCCoolJ95 i bet he would port mewtwo over diddy in no time since like me he has been porting mewtwo first over dk then over jigly to see if anyone fixes the porting 3 gliches wich are always upb FS and N B due to no article

naruto shippuuden psa has a smal naruto with one slot recizer so if you want  small naruto just use him xD  and the psa fits small naruto that much i mean rasengan clone fighting combos it just fits young naruto  too if you want just make some small naruto recolours and you have young naruto psa  its that easy

LC sended me a pm saying he was trying to port mewtwo over diddy so we just have to wait and see if it can be done  i also used your rosalina and the hittem grab with her legs i think it could be fixed by eternal yoshi he fixed alot of pickup items and grab glitches from several hacks just ask him for help

what does ike has to do with mewtwo? since mewtwo is over lucario i dont get it but hope mewtwo over diddy kong works so superzelda fixes the glitches  we will be able to keep mewtwo and lucario xD

Mewtwo over Jigglypuff uses the generic ike rel. That's the only way the hack would work. If I just put Lucario's files over Jigglypuff, it doesn't work and there's the beep of death. now that mewtwo over diddy works xD we just need you superzelda to fix the 3 glitches altough i wont be able to use it since im a pal user and pal users only have metaknight jigly or marth rels working the generic ike rel is for ntsc only and since the mewtwo over dk didnt use rel i assumed it hasnt needed :S im just hoping if superzelda fixes those two glitches maybe i can copy the psa for the one over dk and make it work somehow

Mewtwo over DK does not use any rel files. In fact, if anyone fixed those glitches, THEN Mewtwo could be perfect. But, I like Donkey Kong, he's badass with his awesome punch haha. Besides, I gave up on that project anyway. I'm using Shadow Kong V3 by MarioDK, and it is god lol

Dkn if im doing something wrong i using mewtwo over ike since i dont have the rell and n b just creat a ball in front of him that does huge knockback and up B does nothing  maybe becuase im using him over ike instead of diddy?

also the trowing foward glitches becuase when he trows foward he summons an article  several times

The Final Smash freezes if you stand next to someone. And, also what Carnage said, the Up B does nothing. The Neutral B is decent though. Could you make something like Chaos Spear from Shadow?

Man, the FS works for me - I don't know what ya'll are doing wrong. The Up yeah, I disabled it - couldn't think of nothing and couldn't get nothin to work. N-B, like I said, you can hold A or Z/L/R to change the distance, but it's not perfect. Did you try FS in the Air, becuase that one's different from the ground FS. So I'd have to get rid of the articles on throwing, and such

There's going to be a reduxed version though, that i'll use for the PSA, but I'll need someone to import a Kokiri sword to her and a maybe Lucas's stick so it can be a Deku Stick if I retexture it, and maybe if there's an Ocarina lyin around somewhere I could use that as a taunt/Win animation, or like a Jigglypuff sleeping attack - I'm just puttin out ideas right now!

That won't work. Trust me, I tried to give my Zero (MegaMan X) over Link Marth's Sound Bank (I had Ichigo over Marth and they both have the same voice actors). When the character entered, the game froze. So, it's not the best idea.

why not use that code that switches the sound banks completely? i think its on the clone engine that way  it wasnt needed to mess around with the sound IDS

i got 100% same problems with shadow over Marth
also if you want to fix GFX bugs like if shadow over rob vs. sonic port shadowkong instead and use shadowkong friendly Sonic PSAs

And the Shadow over R.O.B. I'm really pushing for - I was so glad to see Shado over the robot, then got so crushed when there was the random freezing with music still playing glitch. I need someone to fix that quickly!

1-the most important) MUST have diagonal attacks. If not, the character has absolutely no chance of getting in. though, if you can get animations, I can do the diagonal attacks myself. Diagonals are 4 extra attacks that add more options of offence to the playing field and add variety.

2) Absolutely No more Mushroom Kingdom, Pokemon or Zelda characters, unless I can get a good explaination and a moveset worth SSBBL admission. Gotta expand the gaming history.

3) MUST be balanced. Again, if not balanced, then forget it. but SSBBL balanced is a little different. Ranged attacks can be whatever length, but just make sure it's not too spammable. Also, extreme abilities, like 140 points of weight or a character that's fast and strong, should be offset by an extreme weakness.

That is one good looking roster. Now, here's what I would say about the red characters:

Diddy Kong: No sure
Pit: Sora
Ike: Dante
Wolf: Well, if you edit a Jigglypuff rel, you could port your Rosalina
Midna(Toon Link): My version of Young Link
ROB: Sephiroth

Sora was pretty boring.

Sepiroth, unfinished.

No young link, why do we need two Links?!? I'm thinking Saria over Diddy, if not, a character from a different series.

Seriously, something over Wolf because he's glitchy. I'll keep Rosy over Jigs, just to save time.

And the Squirtle entry glitch is getting annoying. You have to start out as a different pokemon, then switch to squirtle, because there's somethin wrong with Squirtle's entry. I need a PSA for Squirtle and Ivysaur anyways, but their limits are just as poor as Samus.

Ah, i see. That is a good idea.

I have recently had a idea, perhaps I could find voice actors for some characters such as Daisy and Vivi. Since the new Sawnds has come out, it makes it a lot easier for me to insert new sfx.

Of course, it is up to you. New SFX could optional to the hack. (As in, separate but available)

Anyways, animating is such a pain to do sometimes:

and only happens when you select cloud over olimar?if so i think the info is not the problem do you have all the no entry and no result data codes?all extra codes to change ic constants?(you know the code that changes all ic constants at the same time can only be used once so  if you  have another rel with that code one of the two wont work)  or does cloud work without the info pac  in your SD?

try taking the info pac out of the SD  and see if you can pick anyone becuase if you can its the info pack problem if you cant probably clouds problem

dont know what the probkem is and to make it small i just opened the one who comes with mewtwo 1.01 and added your extra character names info.pac is the same pal or ntsc becuase i use that one and been modifing it do you put info.pac on the pf folder under info2 folder? becuase that all there is to it  if it freezes is becuase maybe you messed up with some codding?

i dont care it will be a perfect entry for goku it is much better then just teleport to the stage or fly

and you mean Kid goku psa  :af2: Gohan use flying nimbus only at start of buu saga then it is Goten until he learn Flying and then Goku again at last ep. of GT

i just tryed the the last info.pac  i sended in my own and it worked olimar appeared named cloud pichu bros appeared wisp appeared there was no problem like i said maybe some codding messed filepatch code? or something becuase at my end it worked like a charm

dont know i use gecko and didnt mess with that but probably it has to do with something you messed there i only use a gct and has all the code inside and runs perfectly

So here's somethin new - I added a new move to Zelda's already extensive library of moves:

As you can see, it's an instant teleport over a long distance to go along with her teleport sidestepping and dodging, taking just one frame to move, with some lag however, put in both before and after. I put this in so that Zelda will be able to effectively close gaps between her and cowardly players xD. No but seriously, this is a tactical move because there are no collisions, just movement. I had to come up with two more attacks for Down-B's because I wanna get rid of Sheik. The aerial Down-B is unimportant lol, just a spike with downward momentum. Anyways, this can close gaps, or make a hasty escape. Only thing is, you can't go through walls of course XD.

Long exposure to constant long-range teleportation can cause intense confusion.

Also, still needing someone over Wolf, besides Vegeta because Goku should be coming in, and other than Lloyd Irving because He's unfinshed and appears untouuched since the last beta. If Wolf is replaced, then that removes all the glitchless players in SSBBL! Minus the freezing green slots of Wisp and Rosalina :(



And While I'm at it, read below: A lookback at the issues I've had with glitching people :srs: , probably of high interest to those of you who question the replacement of some people:

-King Dedede: Somethin to do with hovering and constantly moving over his CSP face icon caused some stupid random freeze then stops around August 2010, but instead has FS issues, but have since been fixed, 7-5-11, so he's clear! HOWEVER, inability to make a moveset out of him due to being unable to read his file with any of the PSA versions I have in memory may cause an unexpected replacement.
-Peach: Pretty Glitchy in that random-but-rare- colorful lines would appear on screen at random times, obscuring the view, while victory and results screen sequences played and all opponents mysteriously disappeared for the duration of the match as trying to pause had weird lag as if there were a bunch of GFX in the way, also had random freezing at the worst times - it caught everyone off guard whenever someone froze as her. Possible culprits were the Parasol, her side-smash weapons, her turnips, maybe even just her model, but never found out because nothing ever appeared to cause the freezing. She just seemed to freeze whenever she felt like it, much like the Shadow over R.O.B. hack, except the least pleasant kind of freezing(BEEEEEEEP/EEEERRRRRRRRR/BUZZZZZZZZ, pretty much everything you'd want to have your TV mute for). 4-23-11, Daisy replaces Peach to resolve glitching, SSBBL style PSA pending, just waiting on a vertex.
-Squirtle: Entry issue where if a player starts off as Squirtle, there's the Pokeball flash and then instant freeze right when you see Squirtle coming out, while simply starting as a different pokemon and switching back to Squirtle has no problems. Unknown if this is still an issue, but if it is still, Squirtle may have to be replaced :(
-Mr. Game and Watch: COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE, seriously, you select him in the CSS and then try to load a stage and that's as far as you get. Couldn't even use him in solo mode either, not even Home-Run contest or any stadium stuff! Select All-Star Mode, and guess what? Mr. GW is the first to fight, so you get to the stage, you and GW start to fall to the ground about 2 inches, then the dreaded BEEEP. But hey, at least you get to see him that time before he freezes lol. 5-2-11, Wisp replaces G and W to resolve glitching, 5-26-11, SSBBL style PSA complete
Wolf: Entry issue, like Squirtle, except, randomly decides to go and freeze and randomly decides to allow play. Unknown reason, will be replaced.
-Olimar: Issues with Pikmin spawning, randomly deciding to allow more than 6 Pikmin on him at once, therefore causing freezing. 4-25-11, Cloud replaces Olimar to resolve glitching, SSBBL style PSA questionnable
-R.O.B.: Currently having issues with his FS timer on his laser actually restarting whenever B is pressed during the FS duration, thus allowing an Infinite laser. Thankfully, CPU's don't know about this, so they'll only activate the laser once, like in normal brawl, and everything works fine. Most likely will be replaced due to high imbalance of the stated issue. Though, a position battle may arise depending on who - or what, fills the Diddy Kong, Sheik, and Imp Midna slots.
-Pit: The colorful shaded lines like Peach's, but except it only happened one time, and it was early in development, in June 2010. Since then, glitchless. Boring to play as and against, but glitchless. Still planning on replacing him anyways. Goku pending, all dependent on Goku's progress over Falcon.

My next projects? Saria, most likely going over Diddy, or R.O.B., and also on standby for any assistance needed with MarioDk's Goku. Then, if Diddy's not taken, Midna will go over him, and I'll get rid of Imp Midna. Then after, I'll get back to Rosalina and finish her, maybe make her sound like Samus, and look into putting Little Mac and King Boo in, as well as King K. Rool, one of which, I'm hoping will go over Toon Link/Imp Midna.

Maybe if someone can fix the Little Mac over Sheik so that He's glitchless, I'll move him up to the front of the line and work on his moveset :D Since Zelda now has a lot of Sheik's moves without having to transform, having Sheik is useless, so I've no hesitation to get rid of that body.

For right now, the biggest priority is still, replacing Wolf.



And since I had the character issues, may as well have the stage issues too. Isn't it fun remembering and listing all the freezing and glitching issues with this?!?

-Corneria: BIGGEST PAIN IN THE ASS. You couldn't finish a single match on that stage unless you litterally had a one life match and everyone just walked off. Idk know if it was the arwings/wolfen aircraft or what, but this was just unplayable. May 29, 2010, I had installed Homebrew and got all the necessary codes, then experienced the first freeze I've had, and it was on this stage. It had so many random freezes, especially when the underguns/cannons fired! I just gave up and put the training stage there. Isn't there a version where items appear? not just the sandbag?

-Yoshi's Island(B): idk, somethin to do with the changing of the seasons, so I just put over an FD based stage.

-Twilight Mansion(Smashville replacement): random, but very rare freezing, mostly only after you've played for a while and decide to go here. Never freezes if one of the first few stages played, or one of the first few stages and then repeatedly played. idknow maybe it's cause I have each time of day file set to have the battlfield be in a different section of the course from the other files.

-Green Greens: Weird incident just recently, actually. Didn't record or remember which day, but one instance on this stage, midway through battle, the default music from the game, becomes fuzzy and then mixes with all the results screen themes of characters, with what sounded like reception problems that a radio would have. Not wanting to see - or hear anymore, I quickly exited. One of the few unhacked stages I decided to keep and it's never had issues before.

-Spear Pillar: freezing sometimes during the sideways lasers and always when exiting from training. Replaced with Alive Rayquaza's Lake, which I edited twice to make 3 different files on Spear Pillar, renaming them to Mystic Lake, which has had only the issue of suckish random stage selection.

-Halberd: Almost as bad as Corneria - a close second, but at least you got to finish some matches here!

-75m: Can't climb ladders, so why am I gonna leave this here?

-Rumble Falls: Freezing, may have to do with the stage transition from the end to the beginning. Also, there's ladders here!

-Pictochat: Again, Ladders :(

-Final Destination: Believe it or not, here was acting up too the first few weeks, but is now perfect and has epic retexture, special stage, bonus stage and secret stage, all more epic than the other!

-Pokemon Stadium and Corneria start to not read FD .rels: Idk, recently, which is why Training stage is on Corneria now because before, I had Melee Final Destination here and a stage I have yet to upload on Corneria. These two stages just don't read the .rel and freeze. It's weird because it randomly happened - I didn't even do nothin to provoke it, unless too many stages were using FD stuff that since these were the last in the SSS, they wouldn't read it or somethin, idk.

Well now, there are no stage issues, thankfully. And last but not least, since the Info.pac issue has been mentionned already, the ladders glitch which is still very much alive:
-One day I can climb latters, the next, I play exactly the same way I did before and didn't change anything, then all of a sudden, grabbing ladders freezes game. This means all stages with ladders had to be replaced, stage builder stages cannot have ladders, and since they're everywhere in SSE, Subspace emissary is unplayable. Not cool, and unsure how to fix that.

So now, you know a portion of the trials and tribulations of what I had to go through for the past year.

*facepalm* Also, back in my first week of PSAing, I didn't know about filesize limits, so i had an epic ultimate Zelda file of size 447 kb that I worked on for two hours, then plugged it in just to have it beeep in my face. Simply stunning.

first you could get ride of pokemon trainer and put pokemon as independant character with their own slot on the rooster i know there is a code for this  so you could use ridley over charizard then if you wanted to replace squirtle you could without affecting the whole rooster and maybe only maybe  you could add down B moves  like  zelda or sheik so you could have them as full extra characters and i see lucario is not loocked in too so i had a sugestion reduce pokemon characters to 4 or 5 first pikachu(well pokemon icon) second pichu brothers good duo third mewtwo 4th maybe  you could psa and animate aafyre mew over ness   so we could have rivals like mew vs mewtwo and maybe keeping  ivisaur (but evolve him to venusaur) since he is the only four legged character  and i bet there isnt any vertexes that would fit him well while ported


and with pokemon trainer 3 pokemons independant you could  just port or ask anyone to port a model over them and do a psa since you wanted ridley over charizard to fight samus  and with 3 extra characters it would fell like  the rooster is bigger  you should do the same with zelda and sheik and use spider man psa over shiek on its own slot i know there is a code for it too

LOL, dude, that's the Daisy I've been PSAing, retexturing and animating for like, the past five months now :D. I think Starwaffle's would've been better if he didn't mess with the face and kept it the way GameWatching had xD.

True, I would have to give them new Down-B moves like I did with Zelda and Sheik, but I'm thinking just keep Pokemon Trainer as he is - I have no idea why people would want to separte the pokemon when they've already gotten the portrait selection is beyond me, except for what you just said in porting characters. However, Replacing Pokemon Trainer entirely and leaving just an Ivysaur/Venusaur/Bulbasaur would just be a little off xD.

My next move, is splitting ONLY Zelda and Sheik in the CSS, so then I can replace Sheik. I really don't need Sheik, because Zelda already has most of Sheik's moves in her PSA lol. The only problem I'm having with this is that Zelda's file was 396 kb - like, litterally the limit to her file size, if I was to change one little thing or add one little timer, she'd freeze. And while adding the two replacement moves shown above and getting rid of her transformation did relieve her of 2kb space that I can use as breathing room, but now at 394 kb, that's still way over the Culmulative file size limit, meaning Zelda and *Whoever goes over Sheik* Would not be able to play in the same match because only one of the PSAs would be loaded and the other would have a glitchy version of the default moveset, and if some retarded CPU was to try and transform, well, you know...

On a side note, I'm also going to be doing SSBBL version movesets for all the imported characters, meaning Cloud, Daisy, etc.

I'm pretty much finished with Legacy Daisy, so I'll upload that later when I get someone to do a vertex. I also did Legacy Wisp but barely much has changed from the original version besides new diagonal attacks and balance tweaks because Eldiran's version was a triffle too weak xD. After I finish Daisy, i'll be doing Cloud and Pichu Bros, but I can't imagine what to do for either of them XD. I can safely say though, that the Daisy's SSBBL PSA is really engaging and has a gambling sort of playstyle, especially when she gets into her extreme levels  :o.

Though, back to the independent Pokemon, If I could get ALL three of them glitchlessly replaced(minus any graphics glitching that'd come from .rel porting, of course, can't fix that) Then I'll use the independent Pokemon Engine. Replacements would just have to not be from Mushroom Kingdom or Zelda, since there's enough of them already.

i dont think rel ports work on pokemon because they are transforming characters :S thats why people cant rel port over zelda/shiek or wario and i think its the same with pokemons but im not sure  what i meant was old shool porting  like the shadow over DK or  other ports where people ported the vertex with no rel attached

Yes, plus, Captain Falcon is not getting cut - He's Captain Falcon! But does Pit really have more filesize? I'm still loling at how the FitCaptain.pac isn't as big as others. I was able to do whatever the hell I wanted when doing Legacy Daisy and it still had a ton of space left over :D I would say try Goku over Wolf but your saving that for Vegeta in the future and I'm waiting for someone to go over Wolf - MAYBE, if someone could port Viewtiful Joe over Wolf to see if that works, then that would remove the last glitchy character from Legacy!

As for the Pokemon, yeah, just do model swapping like I did for Rosalina Over Jigs, then redo the PSA using the new model's bones. I'm not sure if you can just rename a PSA file and put it over a character and then it works with the new ported model.

Marth's breathing room is pretty good to so if Pit don't workout, you can always try Marth and also Toon Link - He's got the best amount of size, limit so far at 600kb+!! Just think what can be done with that much space!

I did very well with Legacy Daisy because I had so much space - Daisy has five different states, but I need to think of a better name because,"Daisy's Rage" just don't sound right.

There's gotta be somethin ported over Sheik - Was anyone able to glitchlessly port a Zelda model over Sheik?

In Melee, did you know that Pichu was stronger than Pikachu? The only downfall would be that it's percentage increased everytime it used an eletric type move. So, all I'm saying is that move should be a little stronger.

I think Nintendo gave the pokemon change on Down+B on purpose, because with it, the three pokemon only have 4 special moves including the final smash attack. A nod to the pokemon games where pokemon can only have 4 moves at a time.

no but just so this project got something over wolf since Wolfegeta Psa is far from done
and vegeta vertex with wolf´s moveset is not really vegeta
but Triforce Zelda has to self make the psa over Wolf and get the ported vertex i just give you permission for it (dont use rename Fitcaptain.pac/motionetc.pac to wolf method but use vertex porting method)

pika lucario and jiglypuff all have four specials moves lucario aura storm isnt a move and jigly puff up isnt a move like thunder jold isnt one so they all have four pokemon moves  except the pokemon trainers pokemon who only has 3 since switching in the down B takes a move from them

The FS is so a move!

It's Fire Blast, Solarbeam, and Hydro Pump.

Technically, Charizard's FS is Fire Blast, Ivysaur's is Solarbeam, and Squirtle's is Hydro Pump.

but the way they use it it just doesnt look like a move at all but i still think pokemons should have down b moves and switch at down taunt since they gave them some preety useless  moves i mean squirtle water gun is crap  and rock smash to charizard really?  in pokemon games  that gotta be one of the most useless moves ever to use in battle only good for the HM holder xD and ivy up B leaves much to be disered so a good  move on down B could improve them greatly xD

Again, Mario DK was suggesting Racoon Luigi, then I thought maybe put Thunda Luigi into Racoon Luigi as another Combo-nation (XD) but If he doesn't have time, I'd do it for him. This one may need anywhere from 15-30 kb because of some special attacks Thunda has, so again, I don't know how filesize will agree with me. I'd have to do this because MDK don't have the time. I really don't care much for Luigi - He can go die for all I care, and I still won't care XD, but I know other people do like him so I will make Luigi epic like everybody else!

Also, some of the more powerful characters have charging Taunts that Heal some damage. In the beggining, it was supposed to big long and epic, but I put the characters invulnerable because CPUs would just [censored] everything up and then I found out shortly after, that some cheap cheapskate can just spam this Taunt move and no one else can do anything about it. I ignored it for several months and put it off until now, so now, people can get hit when charging, but it takes a lot less time. Also, les damage will be healed - maybe about between 10-40%. By the time you start actually healing you'll end-up getting hit so that balance's things out. Also, another cool thing is that on one-on-one battles, each time a person knocks out, the player left can recharge their energies, so that makes the match all the more tense, and if the other player wants to try and be greedy and replenish more energy, then someone can just hit him and end it! Back and Forth charging seems fair, especially now that people can get hit when charging. Plus, if Mario and Luigi get their combinations, they'll get charging taunts too for those moveset swaps.


There are two/three types of charges:
1- Power-Up: This is what people like Daisy and Zelda have, where their attacks change in some way. Ganondorf, Link, Bowser, and maybe Mario and Luigi will get this
2- Healing: This is what Link, Fox, and others currently have. Right now, they're being restructured so that people can hit them while they're charging, making the move fair.

3- Well, this one's exclusive only to Zelda as a FS: She rather than attacking, charges to a sort of Full Power state that can heal her damage and then go into negative numbers of damage. It takes quite a while though, and since it's an FS, she's invulnerable when doing this. It's also a shortcut to her Triforce Level 2 Moveset so no more time is wasted doing the manual charge. Nothing else changes, just her damage goes way down, depending on how much damage she had when using the FS. If she uses it at 0%, you'll have to hit her quite a bit - after 100% or so, maybe not so much as you think. On the other hand, her Level 2 FS is a big FS attack that gives her a lot of damage - I don't remember off the top of my head, but I think about between 70%-100% and also automatically switches back to the normal Triforce level.

Some people do have a large amount of jumps but it's just a testing amount and of course the max amount of jumps anyone will have as a Final Moveset will be below 7. I'm gonna emphasize the effects of recovery, though, which may mean not a lot of jumps, but more in the lines of some people's recoveries sucking, like Daisy's, some people having infinite recovery, like Ganon's, some people having infinite recovery only if they keep moving, like, Bowsers, and some people just having no recovery at all, like Pichu Bros. But don't think for a second that recovery will unbalance things, because I have very good plans on these characters in granting advantages.*grins*

Like I said, I'm gonna make this game really juicy and engaging so that you barely get a moment of no action! To link to above, I'm gonna epmhasis largely on certain advantages characters have, and disadvantages. For example, in normal Brawl, they say Bowser is extremely strong, and his Side Smash uncharged does about 17-19%, while Meta Knight's supposed to be weak, and his Side Smash does somewhat like 14-16%, and Sheik's two hit Smash combines as maybe 14-16% too. Well, in SSBBL, I'm emphasising Bowser's strength making a uncharged Side Smash about between 19%-24%, so the strength is more noticeable and actually something you'll wanna stay more alert of, but you'll never really see it as an overpowered thing because his attacks in general are all pretty slow, balancing it out, and you see how emphasis is placed on Bowser's advantages and disadvantages. Now another example? Take Daisy(I'm using her in explainations a lot XD, she's just easiest for me to use because I've messed around with her a lot recently) Now Daisy is a Heavily-based offensive character, excelling in strength, attack speed, and agility. With excelling combo ability, now she seems to have a huge upper hand right? Wrong. Not even close to being ahead, if anything maybe behind. She's light - 81 units/whatever Brawls' measure is in PSA lol. Also, she sucks in the air, as her attacks have less range and some are slower, as well as her not getting very high in the air or moving fast in the air either. PLUS, both FS's, (She has only two now) can be blocked and avoided most easily. Also, to tie onto the above paragraph, her recovery is the worst in the game so far, even though she's invulnerable and the torque pushes people and things away - it does have DK's and Bowser's physics in that it has a lot of horizontal gain and little vertical gain, so it's great for a normal recovery situation, but going below the stage or just slightly under a ledge collision is bad, meaning, 97% of the time, death. Also not hard to spike her when you knock her off too. PLUS, it's not controllable so you'd have to use the Side-B, Flying Slam, to turn around and then use it, but it has so much ending lag that she'd die before she gets a chance to do anything. Another thing is that while her Headbutt Up Smash has a sweetspot right on her forehead (lol) that can KO easier, if the attack connects on her side, she only deals about 8% damage, and her Down Smash is VERY weak and slow, only dealing about 10% and only good because of combing, avoiding decay and people seem to have some trouble hitting her when doing that attack even though she's completely vulnerable. See? Strengths in the obvious areas can be cancelled out by Weaknesses in technical areas. Another example? Pichu Bros, because I spent some time on them a lot too. They're like Ice Climbers, in that they're strongest when together. They thus have an advantage in being tag-team characters as they can deal more damage and one of them can sneak around and attack. But again, they don't have a recovery move, like Jigglypuff, even though they have 4 jumps to make up for it, edge-guarders can lurk around and do what they do best. and they're about weight 67, so it's easy to knock them off. Because of their size too, most of their melee attacks have poor range. Now it seems like Pichu's are under-powered, right? Wrong again. They've got ranged attacks in the Up-B Reverse Thunder Bolt, Down-B Freeze Shock, and N-B Electric Flash, Plus they've got their size to thank - it's actually good to be small! I remember countless times being Captain Falcon, Daisy, Snake, and several other bigger people, and trying to attack Pichu Bros. but having half the attacks miss when the Pichus are just standing there motionless, then even less success trying to hit them when they're moving! Of course as stated multiple times before, the effect doesn't work on Kirby, Meta Knight, Pikachu, and other smaller brawlers - Thus why a seemingly unstoppable Ganon is beaten by a duo of Pichu's. And the Side-B has a little jump in the air so it's somewhat of a recovery. So I'm not blindly making PSAs here, I'm simply expanding on their possibilites. If they're Offensive, give them boosts in offensive traits. If they're defensive, give em some ranged attacks, etc. Another way you could put it is that I'm Overpowering and Underpowering so that there's balance - basically what the original Brawl did, but didn't do very well(ex. from SSBB 08': Ganondorf overpower the strength and underpower speed and agility, Meta Knight, overpower speed and underpower strength etc. etc. etc.). I plan on making every moveset exaggerate both strengths and weaknesses of the L Brawlers, while not going over board with it because I realize that a repetitive strategy won't be enjoyable XD.

In fact, I should put a post stating the type of brawler each character is/will be - Should I? Why not. Maybe I'll put the direct above two paragraphs in the OP, idk,

Also, Super Smash Bros Brawl Legacy will be refered to with the alias SSBBL, and Super Smash Bros Brawl will be refered to as SSBB 08', just incase you didn't pick it up yet.

thats alot and i mean alot of text i readed most of it lol and your right when i use pichu bros i get lower damage becuase most of the attacks dont hit them lol what is cheap its the FS since the cpu doesnt know how to dodje it  but when the cpu is pichu bros i always shield the attack and dont die xD

Well, CPUs are never smart with anything so if they don't know how to shield well that's their problem XD. The CPU Cloud always hurls fireballs unless he's on a really small stage, Zelda won't fastfall unless she's level 7 or higher, and some other stuff lol.







Alright well, it's about time I clear outta here. At the time I post this message, I'll have an hour left to finish up any last minute business I have here. I'd like to thank everybody, every single person who posted here for your help, support, and advice. Whether or not it was useful, thanks anyways xD. I'll be working on SSBBL in my own time alone, and I'm planning on doing Saria, Midna, King K.Rool, and many others as well as a long chain of stages. But Thanks again for everything here. I will not return unless I get SSBBL to a near finished point so that all I would have to do is tweak the roster instead of making whole movesets for characters. But everyone on this thread is getting credited. I will say that while I've dealt with some annoyances here, it was pretty fun, I have to admit - I'll stop there because I hate getting into sentimental and chessy crap, so thanks. At 9:00 AM, Eastern Time, I'm gone, sono one be PMing me after that time, or else you're just wasting time because you know I won't be here to respond. Laterz  ;)

And as a last minute decision, I've decided to leave everythig in my vault where it is - it may help out some other people around here, I don't know.
