Welcome to KCMM HD. This is where you'll post the files necessary for the KCMM Team to parse through in order for you to get your HD Video. If you're not certain what KCMM HD is yet, here's a recap of the blog post (http://kc-mm.com/news/kcmm-hd-high-definition-replay-compiler/06-22-2011/) from the 22nd of June, 2011:
What is this?:In a recent interview, regional president Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America announced the WiiU wouldn't play Wii games in their native HD quality (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2011-nintendo/715147).
To heck with that! We're going to get your replays in the resolution the wii games
were originally developed are capable of; High Definition.
KCMM HD is the ability for users to aquire High Definition videos of Replays. The illustration below shows a quick example of how to utilize KCMM HD:
Downloading 'Savegame Manager' from the homebrew channel only has to be done once. Here's a download link for uTorrent 3.0 (http://www.filehippo.com/download_utorrent/). As for the forum link mentioned in step 4... you're here! :)
Note: For obvious reasons, if your creation is a menu, or something of a 'non-replay' nature, please mention that in your forum submission request. Please acknoledge that you will be lower on the tier list of priority, since it will require much more human interaction.
Tip #0: Please, please, PLEASE remember to have the replays stored ON THE WII instead of the SD card prior to extracting the gamesave. Otherwise, there wont be any replays for us to make your HD video out of!
Tip #1: Quick heads-up for people about to attempt utilizing this sweet feature: The files that Savegame Manager should give you look like this (exception is the nocopy folder):
Tip #2: Get the most out of your HD video by removing the Time Constraint from replay recordings:
Allow Replays Longer Than Three Minutes [brkirch]
040E5DE8 60000000
04953184 60000000
04953224 60000000
Infinite Replays
040EB804 60000000
Tags in replays [Y.S]
0404B140 38A00000
Tip #3: We design a fake SD Card file named SD.RAW in order to emulate the SD Card. When you submit your zipped/rarred file, please make sure the mods you want shown are in the same heirarchy of folders that you'd find on your SD card. (ie: /private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/fighter/) This means the archive you send us will have the files mentioned in tip #1, as well as a zip/rar file named 'private', with your mods inside.:
Tip #4: A few users on YouTube have requested that links to BrawlVault be placed in the comments, so that users can directly get to the downloads of what is presented in the HD replays. It's a great idea, and a simple .txt file within your .zip/.rar file that has that information would be to your own advantage if included. :)
Seriously?! That's fantastic! That's something really cool right there! :D Can't wait to see this in action :D
Hey, that sounds cool >w<
Cool.
I'mma get my Capture Card working soon, too!
Oh my.
Pornography for the eyes.
Quote from: Tempo_ on June 22, 2011, 01:39:36 AMOh my. Pornography for the eyes.
So it's like normal pornography...
Also, this is sexy. I will use this, fosho.
I'll use it once I have a new stage to show.
so do we just post a link to the .zip or .rar here?
and do you send us a pm when you posted the video?

Yes. Anything used to show the replay accurately must be included in your file. Is it included in the one above?
EDIT: After importing your data, I found zero replays.
Remember that they must be saved to the WII instead of the SD card for them to export with Savemanager. Care to try again? (BTW: thanks for this mistake, I've added it as a Tip above. heh)
ok. cool. how does the file look when i extract the save data to my SD.

Well, you sent me a data.bin file via mediafire... so I think you already know the answer to your question (It looks like data.bin - haha)
Anyway, like I said, if you want your HD video, move your replay from your SD card, to your Wii memory, and then re-extract your savegame data with Savemanager (again, that file extracted will be a data.bin). :)

Much better. However, I still show zero replays. Did you copy those from the SD card over to the Wii System Memory?
no, the replays are still on the wii system. want me to jus save them onto my sd card?

Hm, if your replays are on the Wii, then it should have exported them... I wonder why nothing is showing up. Still showing no replays after importing your thing.
hmmmm. i'm going to try one more time. and if it dont work this time then idk.
Can we get somebody else to do this? Was my one-time attempt here at the shop a lucky fluke? Now I'm slightly worried. >.>
Nah man, i'll try to make a replay today. I have to install the save manager first though >.<"

Well, in order for me to replay your replay correctly, I'll need the files you used when you performed your replay (namely the necessary pcs and/or pac files used, custom music, if any, etc).
It's pretty simple. If it get's over 50mb, I suggest uploading the zipped files through utorrent 3.0's built-in "drag and drop" feature. It'll give you a short URL to paste here, and I'll download it right from your computer. Simple as that.

idk whats the replay will look like :(
what will it be called?
I personally found it easier to download the savegame manager from wiibrew
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Savegame_Manager
I'll have a go, I included the gct as well, in case that is needed for the replay codes:
http://www.mediafire.com/?4y5d17mwjlw1791
Am I doin it right?
Also, will you ever have P:M/Brawl minus/etc setups so all of the files don't have to be included for people who use those?

Success. Nice work - your replay was there. :D
Now, let me get this straight, this is a stage mod, and nothing more, correct? Were there any modded characters involved?
PS: (Can I get your codes in .txt format?)
Thats correct, only a stage, no characters. and here is the text: http://www.mediafire.com/?g35z7hrce2j90ah
Does it look like its desyncing or something?

Actually looked perfect without any codes at all. No desync that I could tell. But DAMN that's a heavy, heavy stage. Lots of particles, snow, and effects. I might have to overclock this computer beyond 4.0Ghz in order to record it at the same time. O_O;

Also, I need to add the specs to the computer we had to record this on.
So many particles in the stage, it was an excellent challenge for us!
KCMM Master PC Specs
- 12GB DDR3 RAM @ 1333
- AMD Phenom II X2 | Unlocked to Quad-core @ 4.02Ghz per core
- Recorded straight to 2x Striped 0 SSD's

It should export a folder to your SD card called 0001000052534250 (or something similarly crazy). Inside, you'll find the files necessary to zip/rar (along with your modified files). Refer to the first post (which I just updated) to see an example of the files you're looking for inside the 0001000052534250 folder.

I use a hierarchy of files exactly like the one on your SD card (
I'll update the first post, and mention this Done). So if you arrange your files that you used in your mod the same way it is on the SD card, the process will be expedited quickly. :)

The replay I want to be converted is the number 13 on the Wii files..I am a noob with this, so let me know if there something I can improve for the next time.

You did everything correctly! However, due to the limitations of Dolphin, Brawl Minus, Plus, or anything else is currently not supported.
That means that the replay will desync, right?
That news give me a slap in the face... lol, thanks anyway, I will try with normal Brawl.

Welp, this is a learning experience for everyone here. Your replays were there, codes were applied, everything was replaced, worked just peachy~ except for one hiccup:
- When sonic or shadow performed their UpB move, whatever it had been changed to, they zoom upwards infinitely, until the game locks up. Unfortuneately, this prevents us from recording the replays you requested. :\
Sorry!
Let's hope this isn't a moveset replacement barrier, and more of a specific moveset fluke. Guess we'll find out when somebody else wants an HD replay of a replaced moveset.

The numbers are in the order that they are received here on the boards. Galiking is 002, if he ever corrects the last mistake that was made. If not, I'll replace it with another submission of course.

Just install the newest cios36 revision, and that should clear that up.

Your replay is good, but the stage seems to be a stage replacement instead of a stage modification. These are at the mercy of a coin-flip to see if they work or not, and yours basically explodes my software. :\ Sorry.
