well i decided to change the name from "capcom vs nintendo" to "nintendo vs capcom" anyway this project won the poll i made so here's the official thread for news ideas and discussion ect basically this is a major brawl hack like project M brawl+ and brawl- ect

first lets start with some sexy art(didnt make them)

now lets start with some newcomers

now for some planned/hopeful newcomers

The images are quite large but you've got them in spoilers. If you want to accommodate those with lower bandwidth, you could resize them.

This could be more easily done if Tatsunoko vs Capcom characters can translate well into Brawl?  I have no idea if they do or not.

Just a small announcement: I won't be starting this project until I get another SD card(NO my original isn't broken/lost ect I just dont want to have to juggle my content so best to start fresh)

Mmm...I suck at hacking but I would not mind making recolors of existing textures. I thought a while ago how cool Nintendo vs Capcom would be, but I knew I would never have the skills to make it happened, regardless I would love to help if possible.

Also I would recommend adding Dante, Voltnutt (Though the current version would need downgrading), Jill valentine (No recolors or PSA but I am working on the recoloring it as of this typing, will not post untill Saturday) and Chibiterasu or Amaterasu (Okami does not get enough love, there is no PSA, but there is a texture). Anyway just my 2 cents.

As far as choice in Mega Man, X's more involved on the PlayStation, so you're probably better off choosing between Classic or Volnutt. For Resident Evil, Leon and Wesker are two of the more-involved RE characters on recent Nintendo consoles. Villain types shouldn't be ignored either. Bowser, Ganondorf and King Dedede are already fantastic reps on the Nintendo side, with Dr. Wily, Wesker and M. Bison/Akuma being decent selections.

Unfortunately without the clone engine, character removal in order to include Capcom-ees and more diverse Nintendo characters is inevitable. No franchise should really go over two characters, really. As much as I love Jigglypuff to death, it and Lucario would be easy removals. Luigi and Peach also don't offer too much. You see where I'm going with this, yes?

This project is interesting, but as it stands now it's going to be very hard to pull off. I hope to hear more of it in the future, though. Would be happy to write up some movesets if you need ideas.

that doesnt make sense megaman x is more recent than volnutt plus has twice as many games as him which means twice as many moves. plus it makes more sense to go with the most popular versions like classic and x

Mega Man Legends 3 is coming out for the Nintendo 3DS, with a demo releasing soon, so it's the franchise more recently associated with Nintendo. The overall more lighthearted of Legends compared to X also fits in better with Nintendo. Of course, the best-case scenario would have Classic as the representative. Volnutt is still a valid representative, though, especially since there's already a Volnutt model available that could be ported over another character, instead of that vertex over Olimar. There's even a Volnutt project in the works.

yea but its only coming out in japan not in the rest of the world which proves that he isn't that popular plus snake from the metal gear series isn't a lighthearted character neither is samus. Besides if zero is gonna be in you gotta have x. besides the game hasn't even been made yet so he still doesn't have more relevancy then x. if you really wanted to go with a mega-man franchise that is more recent with Nintendo then mega-man star force is the franchise.
