Title: a question about sound hacking... Post by: arcray20 on June 25, 2011, 12:38:18 AM i wanted to know if u can take a sound within the game and swaitch it with another sound in the game.
a better example: in "fighter common" in game say i would wanna swith places with sounds '20' and '50' this would make a gulping sound when someone punches and vice-versa. how would i go about doing that? (i would also wanna do a swith like that with character voice/sounds like hitting the ground, but the sound would be from mario getting hurt) srry if im not making sense Title: Re: a question about sound hacking... Post by: Jaklub on June 25, 2011, 03:04:02 AM You can switch sounds only within one sub-group (by saying this I mean 0xsomething in snd_group_something).
After you find the offset of WAVE string, you have to find the offsets to the both sounds and then switch them. Read Stickman's guide and you should be able to figure it out. Switching sounds from different groups is much, much more hassle. Title: Re: a question about sound hacking...
