A while ago I had the mastaklo Shadow over DK v7 hack that probably can be found on the Vault. I forgot what I did, but after I selected the white DK/Shadow costume and picked a stage, the game froze right after and had that annoying "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" noise.
Other than the occasional result screen freeze, this is the only other freezing problem I have with the game. Now, even after the new SDoom Shadow over DK v2, the white DK/Shadow costume still freezes the game. It's the ONLY thing that's not the occasional result screen to freeze and quite frankly it's bothering me as I'd like to use a white Shadow costume without having to put it over another color.
Any help would be appreciated.
Maybe its a currupted pcs. it happened to me before
Well I have tried different costumes (pcs&pac) over the white slot, but to no avail.

that sounds like corruption if any hack over the white costume is messing up, how do u load ur hacks? if it's thru a usb loader or emulator u can try downloading the original files for DK to see if it helps. or if ur using gecko or riivo u can try to remove ALL of the hacks on DK to determine if it's an issue with what u have on him.
Corrupted files are extremely rare. Chances are you misnamed the files. Do you have all of these?:

@zigheart: I use Riivolution and I've yet to take all hacks off DK. This could be a hypothetical approach to the solution and I could try it soon.

Wow they all seem fine. There appears to be no problems with those files. Could it be your codes or CSP's?
Maybe its an battle portrait that causes the freezing?
I dunno, but if all the other things didn't work, why not just try and delete the battle portrait
My codes don't affect gameplay, I don't have custom battle portraits, and I replaced the White costume CSP with a "Do Not Select | Warning" CSP after this occurred...
