I think this is impossible (and you already made a new entrance), but it would be cool to make his entrance him coming out of the ground.
For the UpB I think he should slowly levitate up.

also, I made a dark sonic hack myself, and my chaos control can be spammed as well. Don't see how you can stop it unless you have honest players who won't spam it

Ok, I am playing him now, and I can say he is pretty good but you could do more to him. He has potential
His down b for example: start up is too long, anyone could counter it before it is release. Add a hitbox at the biginning to keep people at bay to give your character time to get the attack off. Either that or increase the speed of the attack. Also, add some kind of sweet spot at the end of the attack, something like the sweet spot of the knee of justice, anything really.
Uuh, what else. I see your chaos control. Like I said, on my char, it can be spammed too, so there is no helping that. Let's just hope there are some honest players out there that know not to spam such a game changing move. Believe it or not, this move by if itself puts sonic out God tier and mines is longer than yours, 5 secs to be precise.
Other than that, good hack my friend. It has potential so keep working on it. Add moves that you can combo into or something. But good job though.
Oh and about is up b move, eeehh, haven't tried it myself so I kind know if it will work but you could try to give him extreme speed like lucario and add either a stun or dark hitbox. And teleporting could work too.

Hmm, it does have alote of potential. The D-Smash is way cool and so is the A combo. I also like the U-Smash! Cant wait to see more :)!

That Mephiles texture isn't Carlos#1's. Carlos just recolored Marvin's Shadow. It's not his, anybody could've done that.

Very awesome moveset, I'm luvin the Side smash, pretty sick
I tried this moveset out, and I think it is really good, though I have a few points of criticism.
While Mephiles' standard attacks and smashes are good as they are, his specials feel kind of... unfinished.
For example, his neutral special. I really don't know how to use it, and what exactly it is supposed to to. The only thing I notice, is that enemies are flipped when they don't face Mephiles' direction, and are frozen for a few seconds.
His up special is really weak. It is almost impossible to hit an enemy with it, and it doesn't go high enough, to make a (in my opinion) good recovery. Also, I think you should be able to angle Mephiles while he is using it.
Down Special is way to slow to be useful, and it's power isn't worth using it. You should either speed it up, or make it more powerful.
Side special is actually OK as it is.
So... these are my thoughts. I hope they help you to enhance this moveset. :)

Hey guys... I downloaded this and nothing happens except Sonic is in a Mephiles texture. Why aren't the moves showing up?
How do I get anything more than the texture to work??
EDIT: I got it to work but NOW it replaces EVERY Sonic costumes moves. Can I make it so ONLY the Mephiles texture will have the moves???

Its Supposed to that unless you get the clone engine which is very hard to understand
I have to say that I love this moveset SO much that I'm keeping it over Sonic's moves. But what is this clone engine thing you are talking about, and if there is ANOTHER way to make only that texture get the moves, how would I go about finding it? (I mean websites or names to Google for best results.)

Am I the only one who's wii freezes after using most of his specials and ending in the opposite position?(I.e Starting on ground with ->B and ending in the air freezes)
You should replace the ^B for zelda's/sheiks ^B and replace the ^B effects with darkness effects. Other than this, its GREAT
