Title: Disabling bones? Any help?

Hi, I'm new to this vertex editing and brawl modding iin general, so I was just hoping someone could tell me how to disable bones on the models. I notice that the vertices always stretch out to the bones, so if i was trying to get rid of marths cape, I can't with out problems  :( any help would be greatly apreciated   :) thanks

getting rid of the cape would be easier using the automatic polygon deleater. HIs cape might be a polygon.

thanks but i was just using that as an example  :P what I meant was Like shortening Zeldas or peachs dress, or just anything like that that restricts some edits looking right, can I disable it or would I just be wasting my time? thanks so much though :)

You can't that I know of disable bones you might but I don't know how. Check out Snoopys guide he knows a loot about imports and bone he might have something

you need to just rename the bone... but disable the bone will cause the animation for the bone to not work.
