Title: In-Game Battle Name Help!
Post by: That BattleToad PSA Guy on August 30, 2011, 12:44:55 PM
I made the Battle Names to show-up in-game underneath the CSP. I got a if_adv_msgr file to put them in. However, when I started up the game, it still had the default character name (Ex: MegaMan was not MegaMan, but still Ness).

What did I do wrong?

This would be the point where somebody would say "That didn't help, and you're stupid!".

But I'm beyond that, so I won't.

BTW, TSW, what IS your problem?

well i  use gecko and there are three names to replace cspname(small name under the character image icon) is found on sc_characterslect.pac or something  on miscdata 70 then there is the name that appears in front of the recolours its in the same file but i dont remenber the miscdata :S just search around and the batle name (appears during fights below the BPortrait) this is on the info.pac (wich  is stored in info2 folder) i dont know if this will help you but if you replace this 3  ness name should be gone except in results screen(that one i dont know if its even possible to change)

Look in the Texture Datas in the same info.pac that you put the Song Names in. That 1 seems to work for me. I have textures over the alloys so I had to change the names so I tried it. Just found out too.

Sorry if I'm bumping by the way. I have to put that in my sig sometime cuz I say it alot...
