Okay, gonna risk breaking a general rule of forums here for help on an updated problem! My Riivolution is freezing at three unexplainable points, and I challenge you to explain them. I'll be handing out my Riivolution xml and my codelist. So take my challenge!
Freezing Point 1: When it loads Delfino Plaza!
Freezing Point 2: When it loads Lylat Cruise on anything other than the first track of music.
Freezing Point 3: Whenever you use Kirby's Copied ability from another character.
Stuff Already Proven Not to Work: Removing the hacks from Kirby's folder, removing the hacks from the stage folder, and Removing Music Hacks. (Still freezes in Riivolution, it never freezes in Gecko.)

Phantom Wings's Tracklist Modifier has been known to cause freezes...
you should use Oshtoby's Music Modifier instead. I don't have that particular code, unfortunately.
Can't help on the Riivolution part.
Found Oshtoby's code, made the swap. However! It didn't do anything other than make my music get set up the way I wanted it. So the challenge is still on! But Tempo_ gets bonus points for tipping me off to the awesome Oshtoby code. But now I shall update the codelist!
