Are you asking about when the match starts, or after someone dies and they respawn?

Well, they're both located on ModelData100.

To edit where the characters start on a match, edit the PlayerXX bones. There's 8 I believe.

To edit where the characters respawn, edit the RebirthXX bones. There's also 8.

Also, if you want to get them right, I suggest getting the program called BrawlWall and opening up your stage in that. It's located in the Resources page, I think.

Basically, it lets you see the layout of your stage and allows you to line up the spawn points with the floor perfectly, as well as edit the death boundaries and such.

Don't save using BrawlWall, though. Just copy the coordinates you changed and edit the stagepos model in BrawlBox like Stallion said.

Poof. Perfect spawn points.

.... does that make any sense, or am I just talking in circles? o_o

Edit: loljk. It's not in the Resources page. You'll probably have to look around a bit.

I've saved in BrawlWall before :srs:
What's wrong with doing that?

Did it work fine?

I dunno, I swear I remember Mewtwo2000 saying to not save in it.

Ah well. If it doesn't mess up anything when saving, then go ahead and save in it.

Well, when you save, it's more of a "Save as" feature, but yes, it should work fine. Worked for my 2D stages.
