Post by: cj1227 on September 26, 2011, 10:01:01 PM
Hi. Im new to texture hacking brawl. I have read all the guides and tried to get any of them to work for hours. If anyone could run me through how to get a hack into the right spot on the sd card. Thanks! :kdance: :kdance: :kdance: :kdance: :kdance:

I tried reading that but it wouldnt work for me. For example, I would get a character texture  hack for kirby. I put it into E:/Private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/fighter/kirby. I have loaded it through Gecko and have Riivolution and code manager . What am I doing wrong?

For Gecko, what codes are you using? (Please put them in a spoiler tag so as to not clutter up the page)

As for Riivolution, what .xml are you using?

For Riivolution im not sure about the .xml. I got it off the homebrew browser so I didnt download it myself.
As for gecko it keeps loading saying it is applying sd cheat but it doesnt. The codes Im trying to use and have attempted are. I havent used codes other than ones I got through Accio Hacks which arent working, and trying to get texture hacks to work. So im not sure if that is what doing wrong.

Oh. That's your problem.

Name it FitKirby00.pac and FitKirby00.pcs and try the original slot. It should be fine.

Most, if not all, fighter files have a "Fit" prefix to them.

For more renaming issues, please refer to this (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=25566.0) guide. It's incomplete, but it should help with what you're trying to do.

I'm sorry for being absolutely useless, but I have no idea why it isn't working. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help.

Sorry. /:
