Title: CSP: What am I doing Wrong? (Rii) Post by: torpid on October 09, 2011, 11:17:59 AM I've been trying to customize my CSP for awhile with no success. I've looked at various tutorials and threads yet I'm either reading them wrong or idk. I've abstained from posting on a forum knowing that at some point I'd get it right but it's been a very long time with off and on attempts over the past months...I need help...
I practically intend to completely swap out Lucas for Klonoa (http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=265063). I'm using Riivolution v1.04. I've also uploaded my SD card format onto mediafire with the intent it will present my issue more effectively than text. :DOWNLOAD: (http://www.mediafire.com/?d549svy9dbvnnqv) I really appreciate any direction and help. For some reason it also freezes when i put it under brawlmods\textures\system. I've tried naming it common5_en.pac and common5.pac but I've never gotten a result other than freezing and no change to portraits.

Open up the Klonoa CSP's in GIMP (or Photoshop, or any other image editing software), index the images, then import them into common5/sc_selchar. The CSP's will be at a lower quality, but the game should not freeze any more. thanks for the replies, I'll be sure to try this when I get a chance in a few days :-\ I have since found a tutorial (http://allisbrawl.com/forum/topic.aspx?id=150840) that confirms that I'm doing the replace image in brawlbox correctly but I haven't tried indexing the images yet (I figured the modders who published the newest build would have done that). This time around however I made it to the main menu but immediately after selecting Brawl for versus mode it froze and my wii insisted on making that awful buzzing noise. Lastly I have NTSC. |
