Title: 3ds Max 8 create new vertices

Let's go for a new problem...

When i have done for vertex a hack, i'm going export it. And for export, i create a clone of the vertex and select it on "Morpher".

Well currently i can't select him, because apparently he got more vertices :

Original : 539
Done : 540

And i can't just delete a random vertice cause the export will be messed'up...I need to delete that vertices or the vertices created... Thanks for help me.

Can you export the edited one on it's own (without using the original model to morph into it)?

Hmmm...
This happened to me before and exporting the edited model itself fixed it :-\

I have another idea but it is kind of hard to explain, So do you think I could have a look at the .max file?

nope,
it is called 'face_morph'

i saw mk64n using it in one of his videos.

Sorry I disappeared yesterday KTH... I've been having some really bad connection issues lately -_-

If that not worked again, i'll create a DAE or OBJ.

Ok, I got the file to work.

According to my 3dsmax, the edited model has an extra 4 vertices :-\
For some reason, the models don't show up when I try to see them in mesh view (f3) so it is hard to figure out which of the vertices are extras...

Why don't you try and use one of the shrink wrap scripts to make a fresh model into the edited one?
That should allow you to export it :)

isnt there a way to get a list of the vertices of the mesh? cuz if thats possible, i guess the last vertices should be the extra ones...
