Many Hacks on Brawl Vault have had freezing in single player modes, well theres a solution to the problem :af:
The texture .pac files are compressed with I77Z, thats not good :>.>: They have to be set to none in brawlbox. How do you make pac's in brawlbox you ask? Well its simple, open up a pcs and go to upper right corner and change I77Z to none(ONLY IF YOUR CHANGING IT TO .PAC, If you leave I77Z while saving it as .pac I can ensure you, freezing will occur) So to prevent that change it to none and save it as .pac and your done. So this should resolve the freezing and make hacks unfreezable in single player modes like Mewtwo over Lucario hack! :af2:

It's just the wave of newcomers that don't know any better.

True I mean many import hacks like viewtiful joe, spider man, waluigi, mewtwo, had probs with .pac and those creators arent beginners. :notimp:

This reminds me of a month ago i made a texture then it froze and took me a few hours just to find out that i had to put it on none XD

But as Nanobuds said this is found a long time ago but i guess its helpful to people who don't read guides.

so like i need some help!my game freezes a lot with different codes(check out the new topic i posted to check out out,i dont use brawl box,if u use this will it save my problem?

Will this fix the alloys too? Because that Red Recolor for the Green alloy keeps freezing my game for some reason.. *facepalm*

It should bc alloys are fighters and they have pcs and pacs.

oh my gosh..... finally! thank you so much i am a new comer but im eager to learn... ive been working for the past like 4 months with brawl vault and stuff... and this problem has been the hardest to find the solution to... everyone tells me save as .pac file in brawl box... no one told me about the "none" part.... (-_-) but! once i do this to all of my characters... both classic mode and all star mode will work? what about adventure mode? (subspace emmisionary) i bet not...

Hey anyone know if there a different size limit of the psa for the subspace emissary and multiplayer mode?

because sometimes some psas freeze the game. and only Works on multiplayer mode. but in  subspace emisary freeze the game when i push start button to begin

someone know about it?

To answer awesomecasey i'm going to take it that your useing my hack so let me see if tc idea works...
edit: it doesn't it freezes in multiplayer and single player when you do that
