Title: Marth over DEDEDE.... not working =/

 I have a Fixed Marth.rel over DEDEDE and the No results/entry code.

so why does the game freeze when i choose "sora" am i lacking a certain amount of codes?? or is the .REL busted?

I'd try to edit the .rel again.

And check if the .pac files are compressed (they shouldn't be).

And check if you have more than one IC-Constants code. You can only have one of them at a time.

 I only have one IC-Constant code, and other smaller codes that do smaller edits. i know what i'm doing, i'm just seeing if anyone has a working set up. and the .pac files are not compressed. i made sure of that. My brawl is so heavily edited on character replacement/upgrades that only three characters have not been edited. Samus/ZSS/Peach/Snake that's it. =3

and i had Dante over DEDEDE but Dante is beyond broken. so i decided to put Sora over Dedede and i made a marth over DEDEDE.rel and i'm doing everything correctly.

and i need the small modifier codes to make this work. can you or someone provide me the code?

and the .REL or Sora might be broken, i don't know, i'll try a different .rel/psa over the edits =3

EDIT:

The marth.rel i've been using was a PAL .rel... can i please get an actual NTSU REL over marth?

 well i need an actual working Marth over DEDEDE.rel that isn't pal. and i keep doing it wrong =/

Marth has 78 bones in BB, King Dedede must have more...

This is a .rel port, not a model port. So there shouldn't be a bone issue.

Were you using the instructions Phantom Wings posted on patching the Ike .rel for the Marth .rel?? If so, that's why it wouldn't work. Either that, or you accidentally used the wrong values.

Well, I don't know if that'd work, purely because I'm too lazy to try it out. Marth is very picky about who he goes over. If someone ELSE wants to try patching the Marth .REL, here's how to do it.

At the Address 0x3, put the .REL Id of the character you're going over
At the Address 0x14E8B, put the .REL Id of the character you're going over
At the Address 0x16F, put the character Id of the character you're going over
At the Address 0x237, put the character Id of the character you're going over
At the Address 0x18AF, put the character Id of the character you're going over
At the Address 0xA507, put the character Id of the character you're going over
At the Address 0xA56F, put the character Id of the character you're going over
At the Address 0xA5CB, put the character Id of the character you're going over
