Title: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 24, 2011, 01:55:41 PM Just wanna have a thread here in case I get model importing right.
Red is my main priority at the moment. -Big the Cat over Dedede -Male Wireframe over Falcon -Fighting Polygon (Mario) over Mario -Fang the Sniper over Fox -Haggar (MvC3) over Ganon -Hitmonchan on Falcon -Chris Redfield (MvC3) over Snake Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: SSJ Is Clueless! on October 26, 2011, 05:39:04 PM nice i want the big over dedede
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Ӄit ßallarɖ on October 26, 2011, 06:23:07 PM LOL Haggar over Gannon would be funny. "Pipe? forgot that! i got a Warlock PUNCH!"
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 06:24:44 PM I honestly have no idea who he'd be good on >.<
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: SJS on October 26, 2011, 06:29:24 PM If you successfully import Haggar I will love you forever. I'd even help texture him if you'd need =P
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Victory Badguy on October 26, 2011, 06:36:58 PM I honestly have no idea who he'd be good on >.< It's not a question of who Haggar would be good on. It's a question of who is good enough for Haggar to grace them with his model. :srs: Ganon could be cool, but there's already so many MvC3 guys that would work well over him (Magneto, Doom, etc.) You could put him over Falcon for the lulz. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 06:45:44 PM I see Haggar as more of a big guy, so Ganon seems to work well.
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Ӄit ßallarɖ on October 26, 2011, 06:46:18 PM Or Dk. forget the Pipe, I'll use my HEAD
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 07:34:17 PM Or Dk. forget the Pipe, I'll use my HEAD There WAS a texture of Haggar over DK, but it was terrible.I don't see him bending over like an ape :P Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Ӄit ßallarɖ on October 26, 2011, 07:44:58 PM What Animators and Psaers are for :af:
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 08:12:52 PM What Animators and Psaers are for :af: He's going over Ganon. That's my decision. (http://i.imgur.com/sGBOR.png) Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Ӄit ßallarɖ on October 26, 2011, 08:17:39 PM That wasn't so hard, was it? =3 LOL
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Victory Badguy on October 26, 2011, 08:50:09 PM He's going over Ganon. That's my decision. (http://i.imgur.com/sGBOR.png) Cool. I'll put him in the green slot and cherish him. That is, until someone imports Doom *hint hint*. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 08:57:40 PM Well, Haggar isn't my main priority now.
It's this guy. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Victory Badguy on October 26, 2011, 08:59:16 PM Ooh! Mario 64 Mario! Who's he going over?
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 08:59:35 PM Ooh! Mario 64 Mario! Who's he going over? I wonder who r)Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Victory Badguy on October 26, 2011, 09:08:52 PM I wonder who r) Stop teasing and tell me! >:( But seriously, hope you fix that little mapping problem. I have no idea how to fix stuff like that, so all I'm gonna say is good luck. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Friedslick6 on October 26, 2011, 09:20:07 PM You'll need to clamp those multi-layered textures.
Also, I highly recommend swapping the gradient-burnt textures for the unmodified textures along with the palette supplied within the original archive. I only burnt the gradient into textures to increase cross-compatibility, but had no way to make the burn accurate. And unfortunately, I couldn't include two versions of the model in the same upload to TMR. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: sp147 on October 26, 2011, 09:31:25 PM I wonder who r) Yea its definitely going over Zelda xD jkbut seriously, I look forward 2 playin N64 Mario though :) good luck with him Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 09:36:46 PM You'll need to clamp those multi-layered textures. ...Also, I highly recommend swapping the gradient-burnt textures for the unmodified textures along with the palette supplied within the original archive. Never mind then. Good luck with Mario. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: RandomTBush on October 26, 2011, 09:51:32 PM His mapping is messed up :srs: When you import the DAE into BrawlBox, go to each material reference and change the UWrapMode and VWrapMode from "Repeat" to "Clamp". That should fix the textures without having to re-do the UV mapping.Messed up eyes, hat, and side hair (not pictured) Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 26, 2011, 10:10:27 PM Sounds good RTB.
DSX8 is guiding me through this. Very tedious, I must say :srs: Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 27, 2011, 09:56:58 PM >.>
Rigging still confuses me. Maybe I'll watch Justin's video when it comes out. I might move my focus to Haggar. He's matched up to Ganon's skeleton, but his fingers aren't matched up with the skeleton's fingers. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: DSX8 on October 27, 2011, 10:05:14 PM Sounds good RTB. and guiding u i shall till Justins weighing tut video is out my young padowan :vyse:DSX8 is guiding me through this. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 27, 2011, 10:21:56 PM I wonder what mario 64 mario would look like with brawl textures.... I doubt I'd be able to make good-looking textures since the texture files are tiny (32x32).Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: DSX8 on October 27, 2011, 11:05:20 PM How about sometime tomorrow, my master? sounds fine with meI can't get on MSN right now :srs: Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 29, 2011, 02:20:51 PM Actually, I may go back to SM64 Mario.
I hate moving vertices so much :srs: Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: KTH on October 29, 2011, 02:23:59 PM You too, lol
Rig it's most hard i have thinking. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 29, 2011, 04:28:03 PM I also hate when you have to move vertices to match up to the bones.
That's why I stopped Haggar for now since I was getting frustrated moving vertices to match Ganon's finger bones. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: DSX8 on October 29, 2011, 04:29:26 PM I also hate when you have to move vertices to match up to the bones. lol wat i did was scale the model on the X axis to make spiderman match with sheiks bone (also did it with lightning)That's why I stopped Haggar for now since I was getting frustrated moving vertices to match Ganon's finger bones. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 30, 2011, 11:46:52 AM Good news!
SM64 got into BrawlBox successfully! With Mario's bones! (http://i.imgur.com/gbCdg.png) Few quirks though. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: DoctorFlux(Mariodk) on October 30, 2011, 11:50:51 AM awesome

Oh yeah and seg, how'd you get haggar's model? If you have them all hit me up with arthurs model >.> Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 30, 2011, 12:31:13 PM I'm putting off Haggar for now since I hate moving vertices to match the bones >.>
And yea, I can give you Arthur. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Ninka_kiwi on October 30, 2011, 12:38:39 PM I'm putting off Haggar for now since I hate moving vertices to match the bones >.> And yea, I can give you Arthur. That'd be great, thanks Segtendo. Did you rip them yourself or something? Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 30, 2011, 12:40:49 PM That'd be great, thanks Segtendo. I ripped every character ARC and stage ARC from the MvC3 disc.Did you rip them yourself or something? All I would have to do is convert them into a usable format. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Friedslick6 on October 30, 2011, 06:03:32 PM Overall textures aren't showing. They aren't showing because that section of the model used multi-texturing. I think that was being fixed or was fixed recently in Brawl Box?(http://i.imgur.com/jSiLI.png) Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: DJ Lowgey on October 31, 2011, 05:11:08 AM What the [censored]??
It looks pretty awesome!! N64 Mario :af: :af: :af: Why is model importing so easy? He should be over Rob :-P Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on October 31, 2011, 06:55:12 AM What the [censored]?? You want Mario to move weirdly? It looks pretty awesome!! N64 Mario :af: :af: :af: Why is model importing so easy? He should be over Rob :-P Nah. It's not as easy as it looks. The most difficult part is weighting vertices. That's where I'm at right now. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: DoctorFlux(Mariodk) on October 31, 2011, 10:01:52 AM i can´t wait to see N64 mario in SSBB
and much better if i can get N64 winged cap for SMBZ mario moveset :D Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on November 05, 2011, 09:27:45 AM So yea...
I'm gonna drop SM64 Mario cuz he looks all pointy when he animates in BrawlBox. And yes, I did weigh. (http://i.imgur.com/3sn4Z.png) Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Friedslick6 on November 05, 2011, 09:34:28 AM Shame. I guess I'll do it later if no one else does then.

Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on November 05, 2011, 01:35:02 PM So, if my issue is resolved, I'll make a better looking Waluigi for the hack over Pit.
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on November 06, 2011, 08:29:41 PM >.>
I might wanna try Hitmonchan on Falcon sometime since Falcon has a good variety of punches. Also, he could do fire punch with the Falcon punch :P Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: hotdogturtle on November 06, 2011, 09:15:11 PM >_> Can we get a Blaziken too?

Gonna be over Ness. I had to move some stuff around to fit his skeleton. Currently working on vertexing his fingers into place. His right hand is done, along with a few of his left fingers. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on November 21, 2011, 11:07:30 AM Well, yea...
I think I'll keep this open, even if I haven't done anything yet :P Sackboy's been done over Lucas, so I don't need to do that. Yesterday, I started Chris Redfield from Marvel vs. Capcom 3 over Snake. He'll have two faces. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Zikkh on November 21, 2011, 11:19:10 AM Sounds Great :)
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on December 01, 2011, 04:30:03 PM Ugh.
My demo of 3DS Max 2010 expired a few days ago. The keygen I found, according to AVG, has a virus, so no luck there. I tried a bunch of different sites, but AVG said the same thing for all of them. Should I just get a different version of 3DS Max? :srs: Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Enigmatic on December 01, 2011, 05:32:29 PM I'm not saying you should, because pirating is wrong, but avg finds all keygens to be viruses, so you will just go to tools, advanced settings, then disable it while you let it work. X-Force is a keygen for the program, but again you shouldn't do this. I'm speaking hypothetically in describing it.
Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Ninka_kiwi on December 01, 2011, 05:36:17 PM Segtendo, just use the student version of 3DS max.
It's free but the only catch is you can't sell anything you make with it whioch as us modders go we wouldn't sell this stuff anyways so yeah. Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: Segtendo on December 01, 2011, 05:39:47 PM Thing is, I DID use the student version :srs:

Something I've been working on for the hack over Pit. He's coming along nicely ;D Only things that are in need of fixing are the legs, the tennis racket (which is stretched, even in his T-pose), and some other vertices. His mouth and moustache move :D Title: Re: Segtendo's Imported Goods Post by: nanobuds on December 19, 2011, 03:04:38 PM looks great!
