Title: CSP Creating in GIMP
Post by: FullMetalFalcon on October 28, 2009, 07:34:52 PM
Followed the guide "CSP Creating in GIMP" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keeU5Dwuikw) a couple times, but I just can't seem to get it to work properly. The CSPs I used are distorted (two appear in a single portrait), as well as the Mario suit given in the example. They are also affecting portraits I did not chose to modify. For example, next to the Mario suit will just be a gray box.

I'm using an SD card with only Brawl+ 5.0 rc1

Also, before I finish saving the files in Gimp version 2.6.7, a "RLE compression" dialog box appears. That wasn't in the YouTube video.

The latest portrait I did (Ronald McDonald) is the only one working.

k, something's up with Meowmix. Their CUPASH is [censored]ing with everyone, it's not only you. Their CUPASH corrupted your Ike slots. I'm going to have a word with Jack.

Fixed, and ready to go.

How will we know when it is fixed? Will it be in the YouTube description?

I doubt it, I tried having a word with him, and was ignored completely.

I'll provide you with mine.

No need for step2, as it's already done.

Ignore the RLE compression box.

By ignore, do you mean cancel compression or that it doesn't matter which direction it gets compressed?

Step 2 ...create? Please tell me you meant Step 1. ;_;
Well, the portraits you gave back to me do work. The CUPASH on the other hand are still messing up those same portraits when I try to run it myself. However, this time its only my created portraits that are not working. I keep thinking I messed mine up when saving them, but then how did you get them to work?

Oh, sorry, I meant step1. My CUPASH download I handed you is messing up your CSPs? It's never done that.

By ignore, I mean don't check off the compression.

Yeah.

You can check the RLE compression box if you want to.  It won't really affect the file besides reducing its file size.

You're welcome.

Would "Flatten Image" cause this? I'm not certain how to start troubleshooting. All you did Shadow was run step 2 on my CSPs, correct?
