Title: Removing water from JJ based stage Post by: gurdoman on October 30, 2011, 04:35:45 PM I already asked Lensho this, but just in case he is too busy to help me I'll ask this here.
I would like to know if you could help me with a stage I'm "fixing", I grabbed this stage http://www.mediafire.com/?6ag238msqngcbtr and moved a couple of vertex to have 3 stones on top of the waterfall, and make the waterfall a dying point (not walking on it). The problem is that when you fall, you start to swim just like a meter below and go all the way to the left, I understand that that happens because it's based on Jungle Japes, but after searching like crazy I couldn't find a workaround. So what I want is for the waterfall to be a falling spot, no water, no nothing just falling. Please help Title: Re: Removing water from JJ based stage Post by: Sky Grounder on October 31, 2011, 10:16:59 AM 1. Open up the stage in Brawlbox Modset 4.2
2. Go down to MiscData[20] (should be named STDT) 3. Change the first value to a very negative number, such as -500, then press enter 4. Save The first value in the file should modify the water level, the second value should modify the water currency (speed). I have another question though, if it's possible to change speed and such, is there any way to change direction? for example the waterfall, if I want the current to go down instead of left? Title: Re: Removing water from JJ based stage Post by: Sky Grounder on October 31, 2011, 01:25:08 PM Yes, it's the second value. The original value is -4,5 , which means it flows to the right.
And if you change it into a positive value, it will flow to the right. :) Title: Re: Removing water from JJ based stage Post by: gurdoman on October 31, 2011, 02:19:04 PM Yes, it's the second value.
